Olivia Munn isn't even really a gamer though....
Before she got to G4 she hardly knew a thing about anything technology related. She even says this herself.
*edit*
Just noticed "Thehaters" post right below mine xD
I don't think this would be anything related to Chrono Break, seeing as the former Square Chrono team is not with them anymore and is now called Monolith Soft, who is owned by Nintendo.
But seeing this is an American art style doesn't have me very hopeful....maybe Square licensed the rights to a western development studio? If so that would be tragic. But I doubt it.
redmage, do you truly honestly believe that any handheld RPG Square has made this generation even comes CLOSE to matching their games from their glory days?
Shame on you.
Wheres Xenogears? Not even a sequel, how about just a remake and finally give us disc 2 like it was meant to be.
*sigh* i get depressed thinking of the glory days. what happened?
Because if PS3 owners actually went and BOUGHT the first game, they might have made the sequel for PS3.
It costs a lot less to develop on PSP and more likely to sell more copies on PSP, therefore its a much lower risk developing on PSP. Its like handhelds are getting all the great RPGs, basically because people suck and only buy blockbuster FPS titles nowadays so publishers are less likely to risk putting up the high costs of developing 360/PS3 games.
Whoever wrote the article is a complete clown. Almost everything he wrote in that article was a joke, seriously.
that list is a joke. i mean, shadow hearts is an awesome game, but i wouldn't call it one of 4 absolute must play jrpgs. its not even the best game in the series :P
Valkyrie Profile...another incredible game, but its not something that everybody will enjoy. its more for the die hards IMO.
and Kingdom Hearts...just lol @ that.
agreed with Light-kun...Xenogears and Suikoden 2 by far are better than the games on that list.
lmfao @ the comments on there, people are such sensitive pricks its hilarious.
Yea I know what you're saying in regards to chip size. I'm not saying this things going to cost 600 dollars, I'm just saying its probably going to be in the 300 dollar range for the base model, slightly more than an iPod Touch.
Nvidia isn't going to charge only their manufacturing costs, the majority of the cost comes from R&D, especially on a breakthrough new product design like this.
Couple that with other technology in the ZuneHD like the OLED display, and its not sounding like something thats going to be cheap.
I wonder how much its going to cost...I doubt it will be cheap.
woooooord. i haven't changed one bit, i still love the same games. nintendo just doesn't make games as well as they used to during the NES to N64 period. they aren't bad, just don't have that same quality or originality.
I think the point they were trying to say was that at the heart of W7, its still going to be Windows, meaning its still going to have the same old Windows problems you find across all brands of Windows. Registry, DLL files, anti-virus, Disc defragmentation, a security interface that interrupts the end user....
Snow Leopard builds on what Leopard is because Leopard is not a hugely flawed operating system with tons of problems, thats the difference. They weren't ragging on MS for...
lol this sounds exactly like Treyarch before WaW came out. arrogance, great isn't it? How about he just lets the game speak for itself.
hahaha but wait what do you mean...PS3 CLAN SOLVED THE PUZZLE RIGHT??
damn i remember this game, i used to play it for hours.
Yea and hopefully they'll have more creative freedom now being under Sega and not under Square.
It gets the point across, but it was still a terrible ad. MS really should fire crispin-boyer, all their ads have been pretty terrible. What makes it ironic is that crispin-boyer completely uses Macs.
I say you get what you pay for. That HP in the commercial is cheap for a reason. Questionable processor, junk ram, junk HDD...overall junky hardware. I'd rather pay for the quality. I'm not saying get a Mac, I'm saying if you want to get a good 17" PC then you better spen...
Ummmm I'm pretty sure the PSX was the ultimate console for JRPGs....Ps2 actually didn't have s*** compared to the PSX, in terms of quantity and quality of RPGs being released.
PSX was the peak of the JRPG era, and it slowed down on PS2.
Monolith actually is mostly the team that did Xenogears...lol. Monolith made Xenosaga for that reason, because they wanted to finish Xenogears but didn't own the rights, so they just did a complete restart on the Perfect Works episodes just with a new name due to copyrights. This only applies to episode 1, after that Namco fudged around and basically put a new team on, with Takahashi only having minimal involvement. But the episode 1 team is mostly the same team that did Xenogears and even...
