Well lets see, one version has no extra content, while the other version has an extra costume, extra mission, location etc. for free.
So assuming graphics and other things are equal, and I have a feeling they will be judging from GTA4 in the past, then I think its safe to say that PS3s got the better version this time around.
I'm assuming you just register online for Toysrus membership, I think its called Rewardsrus, and then just print out your member ID and bring it with you to the store when you go buy it on Tuesday.
^^^^Whoa dude, clean up your chin, I think you got a little Niko Bellic on you.
Yes Mass Effect 2 isn't much RPG...however Dragon Age Origins IS. A great one that is. So its not like Bioware has no credibility anymore, they can still make fantastic RPGs.
My thoughts exactly. I used to be the biggest fan of Squaresoft and JRPGs. Gotta say, for a huge JRPG gamer like myself, this gen has been quite a disappointment. Its a bit depressing to see Japanese developers struggling to recapture their past glory in the face of an increasing Western influence on the industry. Kinda sucks but oh well.
All I can say is that the Squaresoft and Enix merger, with Yoichi Wada becoming CEO, has been the worst thing to happen to the JRPG gen...
All I can say is this, I canceled my XBL membership a while ago because I got tired of paying for it and for the past year and a half I've bought all multiplayer/multi-console games on my PS3 instead of 360. In fact, I haven't bought a single game for my 360 in the past year and haven't really used it much. Looking at the 360s lineup, I don't think that will change in the near future either. I might have gotten Halo Reach, but theres no way in Hell I'm going to start pa...
Too bad that wasn't actually the games opening.....lmao. I assume you're talking about Raidens opening sequence, which wasn't technically an opening sequence since it was several hours into the game.
I wish I could slap whoever made this list.
As if COD didn't already have enough annoyances for crappy players to abuse.
This is true, however it does seem like Rockstar San Diego really outdid themselves with this game, because it looks pretty incredible.
Yea I actually just bought the game this weekend because it was only 39.99, I think it was on Saturday.
This guys getting a little ahead of himself, how bout he proves first that he could handle translating Castlevania into 3D before he starts talking about rebooting another classic franchise.
Good. Activision, burn in Hell.
First jaffe complained about used game sales, which I do agree with, and now he wants to complain about this. Granted, it is a cheap way for people to swindle developers, but I mean come on man enough. We get it Jaffe, you think devs deserve more of the money that games earn. This guy let's his emotions get the best of him sometimes.
Wow, it was a joke buddy. Way to go taking things way too seriously. You're gonna make assumptions about how i regularly post, just because I made a single joke in a single comment? I think you should reevaluate who the childish one is.
Sure people can have their opinions, but when their opinions are downright ignorant they should be told lol.
What a fool though. First of all, much of the process in the creation of video games involves art. Art design and designing all the characters, environments, and all other visual aspects of the game is not art? Thats why very talented artists are paid lots of money to do those things. So to say that video games are not art, based on just that fact alone, is quite arrogan...
I don't care who's right, the fact of the matter is that activision is a bunch of retards and ruined the best thing that's ever happened to them. Usually publishers would be doing everything they possibly can to please the developers who just gave them the most successful game in history, and would be doing everhing possible to make sure that they are happy there and wanting to stay with them. Instead, activision treats them like crap and makes their single best asset want to leave. I don't ...
This gens DLC is seriously one of the worst things thats happened in the industry. I can't even explain how much I hate how badly publishers are milking it and taking advantage of it. Expansion packs are nothing new, but the way publishers are doing it now is just sickening.
But unfortunately the uninformed masses that all play Activisions franchises don't know and don't care about what Activision does and will just continue to buy new COD games and endless DLC.
Yet IGNs always ratIng these blockbusters and franichises the highest, which just encourages all the average joes who read their site to go out and buy into this stuff. Quite the double standard.
sid4gamerfreak....why the hell would you post sales of games that are 5+ years old, when the entire article was based on the topic of PC gaming TODAY.
We get it, you love PC gaming, as do I, but the fact of the matter is that 2/3 of the money spent in the gaming industry is spent on console games. Partly due to the fact that developers aren't focusing on PC anymore, and partly due to piracy. I think this Epic guy is wrong to blame it all on piracy, 360 is plagued by pir...
