Gold give you online multiplayer ..
If you have a 360 you get gold FREE which give you EVERYTHING 100% other than multiplayer (demos, updates, vids, etc, etc)
I LOVED PORTAL ... gave me a good 4.5 hours of puzzle and mind testing fun.
First one out of the box had issues with the down stroke. Only about 3 out of every 10 would register.
Just brought in guitar and exchanged for new one and must say ... IT IS AWSOME.
Feels so much nicer than the explorer.
FEELS BETTER
RATHER THE FEEL OF BUTTONS
VERY COMPHY
Really glad I grabbed one.
The fanboys are still hanging around N4g in droves.
Ignorance is bliss is what they say.
.. not as a pre-order however.
I am waiting for reviews on this and Soldier Of Fortune. If good, I will buy both.
.. I agree 100%
Plus now that pretty much ever Lot # I see on the 360 boxes is at least 0734 or newer (most are 0735 and 0736) means the 65nm FALCON chip is on shelves. I will be VERY HAPPY when the fast dwindeling of the old stocks are GONE GONE GONE !!!
No offline multiplayer .... WTF is that all about ?????? Maybe I am not understanding you correct !!
As for you sucking ... I would look into the guitar for real.
I normally on medium hit the 98% and ups. I just played some with my explorer with the 98% results all the time. with the new guitar, it for sure is having issues with the DOWN STROKE. If I play using ONLY up-strokes I am fine. But hey, I payed for a working guitar so back to EB I will go Tommorow and g...
The wireless guitar I have has issues.
Don't think it has anything to do with wireless. The downstroke is recognized about 7 times I hit it for every 10.
Anyone else??
The main reason for MB warping came from the X-Clamps not being supportive enough ... the X-clamp method IS GONE !!!
They now have a new method which is a proved method that folks have used as a home MOD that eliminate the X-clamps which was also a HUGE CONTRIBUTOR to the RROD. It is now is ALL the new 360's
This home mod --> http://www.x-clamp-f...
What is still HURTING THE 360s REPUTATION is the fact MS is still sending out REFURBES of the old crap. They need to either destroy them or only use the shells but put in the new Motherboards.
As long as they keep sending folks back repaired OLD HARDWARE ... the RROD will still happen.
"MS .. if you are listening ... save yourself some face and just send out consoles that are being sent back from repair with THE NEW GUTS" inside"
Lot # 0734 and later from what I hear all have the new guts
- Two heat syncs (rather than one)
- Very reliable and quite BenQ drive
- No more X-clamp that caused issues (new 4 screw mount method)
- 65nm chip
I have been watching around at my Local Walmart, Best Buy and Future shop, Eb Games.
I am happy to say that EVERY SPOT I have seen here in Ottawa, Canada how has newer lot numbers. Checked today when grabbing GH3 and have b...
The last one, GHOST ... that is pretty fricken cool indeed
What method of cable you use (or as you would say WIRES) has nothing to do with burnt in pixels. It is only a way to get a signal from one source to another.

HDMI was just brought in so the big movie companies could better protect their movies with more robust copyright protection schemes

BANG ... nail hit right on the head.
The nice part about HDMI being all digital, is it becomes much harder to BS about signal loss, noise ,etc, etc
If you signal is full digital, you will basically have a check sum at the start of the signal and a check sum at the end of the signal (all digital in "Ones" and "Zeros")
... so one of two things will happen.
1) the check sums will match and pass = you get a signal
or
2) the check sums will NOT match = you...
They sure are pushing it as the be all end all in video one.
I am not knocking HDMI, I am just saying ... IMHO ... I do think HDMI is a better quality ... but NOT by the huge margin many would like to think.
HOWEVER ... HDMI has far more restrictions.
*cough*
--> DRM
*cough*
--> HDCP
*cough*
This will at least do a bit of "Bull Crap" filtering
I know I see VERY LITTLE difference from Component to HDMI on my HD Satellite Box running into my 61" 1080p HDTV.
Only reason I switched to HDMI was the simple fact I got one cheap (about $15). I bought one for my buddy since I knew he just bought a MONSTER HDMI cable at a RETARDED price. He now has the $15 cable and back went the Monster.
If I could not have found an HDMI cable fo...
Either buy AA rechargables, or what I do is go to my local Costco and buy AA's in bulk. It works out to about 39 cents per battery.
Once industry decides to PICK AND STICK with one or the other .... I will buy that format.
Till then ... they can stick it and I will watch my HD content over my Satellite dish.
As for Downloadable media, not that I don't like the idea, but being a bit older than most on here (mid 30's) I still prefer having something in my hand to show for it and that I can take to a freinds house and watch.
If you already know of a really good site which tells ALL the update will bring, could you post it ??
Thanks
