Dude, I understand your joy. I had the pleasure of playing in the BETA and must say I was very sad when the beta ended. BUT NOW ... I am back in the game. And "THAT" is a good thing.
We should use COD4 to bring both camps together and agree that both consoles are kick azz, when you have a kick azz game like this to enjoy.

It is more money that not everyone wants to spend. The 80GB BC is not even 100%. If I had to choose between the 80 or the 60 ... I would get the 60.
I want the 40GB model since I could care less about BC and all I need is two USB ports. Most times it is only me playing, and when I have more, it is normally just me and one bud.
Plus, I will just chuck in my 160GB Sata drive.
BUT ... I am also hoping to see the 60GB model take a price cut from local ...
When is the new Firmware out?? I thought it was going to be end October. I really want to see what it brings to the table. What it has to offer is a factor in a purchase or not.
I have my fingers crossed.
My area has the 40 Gigs sitting on the shelves, but I am sure the close Christmas gets, the less I will see them. So I really hope we hear something VERY SOON !!

OMG OMG! I got my 360 copy and i'm playing it right now. i am soap right now! seeing is believing! 360 version is the best! if your tv has a 1080p output you will be playing probably the best game of the year. well that is until uncharted drakes comes i'll reserve my judgement, but as of right now this game owns the best fps games ever made that is bioshock and half life 2 included. its a good thing it was made by activision and not EA which clearly supports xbox 360. that is why i have a say...
... considering the price of the cards will almost buy you a console and in some cases ... THE PRICE WILL, I would expect it to run well.
If I buy a $100,000 sports car, it better perform on a higher level than my Regal. But in the end, my Regal, gets me to work in traffic JUST AS FAST for a CRAP LOAD less money.

The 360 version is HARD to find. Only acception is at Walmart .. BUT ... the bundle they sell for the 360 has the older wired explorer with it.

One thing I will say .. buy selling Stand-Alone BR players for $199, folks that were set to buy a PS3 for the BR player ONLY to get a cheap BR player will now stand back and re-focus their attention to this player. Why pay $399 to get a...
Considering you get this level of graphics out of an XBOX 360 ... umm .. let's use the ARCADE model ... which is only $279 .... I think it works out well. Not sure how it looks on a 22" or 24" PC monitor, but it looks OUTSTANDING on my 61" 1080p HDTV.
Can you even get a PC that would run gears for under twice that price ??? Actually, I think a decent video card alone will almost run you $200 plus.
Unless BestBuy wants to catch some major crap, I suggest them get on ebay and start bidding to get back their little mistake.

Come on Christmas and 40GB PS3 .... both machines on my 61" 1080p HDTV will put me in game bliss.
