But who says it has to be a "blowout"? Nintendo could show a new Killer Freaks level, or a demo with players using more than 1 WiiU controller.
All Nintendo has to do is show something new... anything. I love the Zelda HD demo too, but it has been 7 months since E3 and Nintendo made some pretty big promises.
I am definitely passing on this one. I am not knocking Nintendo for trying something new, however, do something completely new and try not to drag pokemon down with it if it fails.
Just gimme Pokemon 3DS, and a home console Pokemon game that doesn't make me regret purchase within the first 15 minutes. It doesn't even have to be an RPG. It can be something along the lines of Stadium 2/Battle Revolution.

As much as i hate to disagree with someone who always makes intelligent comments, Nintendo has never dismissed the split timeline theory (to my knowledge).
As much as i love Zelda Timeline theory, i don't have high hopes for this. Zeldadungeon.net already posted the book's Table of Contents, and it appears to be nothing new. They just break down the back stories (Creation Myth, Seal War, Dark Interlopers etc.).
Nintendo releases much more games in Japan. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Xenoblade are excellent examples of games that almost didn't make it to the US this gen.
This is generally the case with Nintendo i.e. Fire Emblem, Earthbound etc..
Wow, very surprised here. My only explanation is that more Nintendo games are released in Japan. With less options, more US Nintendo gamers consider titles like Zelda a must buy. It's a stretch, i know.

My vote is for Ocarina of Time vs. Skyward Sword in the finals. Part of me just died inside... i really love A Link to the Past.
Did they really put Ocarina of Time against Majora's Mask in the first round? That's just wrong... those two games shouldn't have faced off until the semi finals at least.
