I only own a Wii... I also own every single Zelda game ever made (I replay them every year in order of release). I also own every Mario and Metroid title ever made.
I have been gaming "hardcore" since the mid 80's, can you say the same? Call me a fanboy if you must, but casual... I don't think so!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I won't fault you for answering the article's question to the best of your ability. Just ke...
I couldnt not agree more... here we go again!!!
Another person who stopped reading after the title.
However, he thinks there are several franchises that will benefit from Wii U’s HD capabilities, like Zelda. “As I mentioned, it is true that, in some software areas, we need to be engaged in the power games.
“Take The Legend of Zelda franchise, for example, the fans must be looking for the graphic representations that they do not see as cheap at all when the title is released for the Wii U. When it is necessary, we do not hesitate to role out our resources.”

Hmmm, never realized how many people wanted games like Rythym Thief in HD.
You forgot that Killer Freaks game. Excellent list though.
I'll be playing the devil's advocate here, however, I do very much agree with comments stated above. When in Rome... act as the Romans do. Symphonies demand a respectful etiquette, and that's just the way it is. If you cannot follow the rules, then you need not attend.
That being said, I literally cringed when I read about how "upset" Aonuma-san was with American fans. You should have just kept that to yourself good sir, because it just screams out of to...
Nintendo you sly (star)fox you!
It's like the unveiling of Sheik in Ocarina of Time all over again.
Yea I know, highly unlikely... but a fanboy can dream right?
Gotta forgive right?
@Rampaged Death
Not to digress, but millions of people also buy Crack Cocaine every year.
If those people could get their Crack Cocaine at a cheaper price... they would.
(See I went somewhere logical with the Crack Cocaine reference...please don't ban me).
Say no to drugs kids!
Good points all around.
However...
1. I loved the Gamecube... but imo it was far from a success (from a sales standpoint), so I can understand discontinuing that brand name.
2. Not all versions of the DS could play GBA games (DSi and DSXL).
3. Imo "hardcore gamers" care about... "hardcore games", and not too much else. Nintendo could name their console "The Virgin's Best Friend" and I would b...
Uh...yea... I am sure that that is exactly what they are going for. /s
Why not? Apple's products are notoriously overpriced.
Nice read... but, maybe I missed something. Why is Iwata holding a gun?
I think that they should keep the Wii U name for the following reasons:
1. It plays Wii games
2. You can use Wii controllers
3. Anyone on the planet can pronounce and remember the name WiiU (whether they want to or not).
I am so tired of the lame "people will get confused argument". Why cater to someone that is too stupid/lazy to do 5 minutes of research before they shell out hundreds of dollars on a console. That makes no sense to m...
Could be cool, but hopefully not too expensive. I am already gaming on a budget.
I hate to be "this guy" (just kidding, I actually love being "this guy") but Nintendo already said that the next Zelda will use motion plus controls similar to Skyward Sword.
Hmmm...
I really think that could work.
I 2nd that!
Super Wii!
I think that we have a genius at work here.
According to your logic... the only way for Nintendo NOT to be doomed, is to quit making home consoles and just make games. Thus, making far less money = Nintendo's success.
Did your parents and teachers cry a lot when you were kid?
"best developer nintendo ever had was rare".
You should have stopped right there. Not only would I have agreed with you, I may have even given your troll ass a bubble vote out of pity.
You do realize that Miyamoto created Donkey Kong, right? So chances are that it was Miyamoto himself that gave Rare his blessing to work on the Donkey Kong Country series. Why would he hate Rare for bringing one of his oldest creation back from the dead, and into pure...
