I would love to see him and Mr. Game and Watch go toe to toe.
Bubble vote for Lady Lyndis!
One of my all time favorite Fire Emblem characters! I wonder why her name hardly ever comes up in these post?
So many characters, and this is why Smash Bros. is a series that could definitely benefit from DLC.
The 2nd half of 2013 seems the most likely for both Microsoft and Sony. I can't imagine Sony waiting until late 2014 to launch the PS4.
It is much too soon for a statement like that, this is ONE developer. The same developer that gave us Snake in Smash Bros. Brawl.
We can only hope...
Kinda funny that a "true" pokemon game hasn't released for the 3DS yet, so who knows? Nintendo might move it after all.
Ask me after E3, because with the right launch titles I will pay whatever Nintendo is asking.
Sad, but true.
I like that.
Pachter is so full of it!
He predicts the Wii U to be a failure because "casuals" won't want it. Now he predicts that online is crucial to Wii U success.
Did I miss something? I guess that Pachter's "casuals" must do a lot of online gaming in their spare time.
Lol @ growing pains ahead.
Yea, establishing a network is going to be so tough for Nintendo. If only they had a couple of current real world examples to follow.
Why learn from your competitors when you can reinvent the wheel. /s
Imo Brawl was leaps and bounds better than Melee. People whine about Brawl's roster, but Melee had way more broken characters.
You said it yourself, the 360 has been out since 2005. If casuals haven't bought it by now, then they probably won't buy it after the Wii U releases.
Okay... it's a business.
This article has nothing to do with finance! It is about the Wii U having a potentially huge head start over it's competitors.
The author never mentions tech.
It's not a question of whether MS and Sony's tech is behind. This article is about giving a company like Nintendo over a year head start before even mentioning your console!
I don't think that console makers lie to investors or give 3rd party developers kits, just for the hell of it. But just for the sake of argument... why would Nintendo lie about the Wii U?
You speak as if Nintendo is some small child, lying to avoid punishment. Nintendo is a business run by adults. If they are going to lie to you, they will lie about sales. No business is going to lie to investors about their marketing strategy... that's just stupid.

30 playthroughs... really?
People are complaining about this... really?
I have never played a demo 30 times!
Sonic Dimensions might be a hoax, but Sonic will still make a Wii U appearance. This is the same producer that said that Sonic was a perfect fit for the Wii U.
Nintendo has stated (repeatedly) that the WiiU will be marketed towards the hardcore audience.
So, according to you, Nintendo is lying. They are lying to their loyal fanbase, their investors, and 3rd party developers working on these titles. I mean, they must be lying right? Either that, or you have no idea what you're talking about.
Don't feel too bad though, I am sure that your "hardcore vs. casual" cliches made you sound cool last year.
I am pretty sure that Nintendo modeled the Crimson Loftwing after the Hylian Shield... but you never know.
