Nobody will have to pull the trigger, they'll sit back and let digital distribution do it for them.
Yes we will see come E3.
"Nintendo lost plenty of credibility with the Wii"
Last gen Iwata said that "the Nintendo Wii would not be competing with the PS360" and "Nintendo would be going a different direction".
It sounds to me like Iwata told the truth. Perhaps you had a little too much "salt" when he made THAT statement?
"show and not say"
It's funny because I used to wish the same thing about you, with your previous Nintendo hate (show meaning providing links to absurd claims). But anyways...
So the next time that somebody ask Iwata a question about the WiiU, you prefer him to not answer... am I right?
Nintendo makes a statement like this, and people still complain. I just don't get.
They will believe anonymous rumors, and bias analyst, but when Nintendo says something then they must be "tricking people", or "saying what everyone wants to hear".
Pure idiocy!
Is it multiplayer?
I actually agree with Sony, digital software should be cheaper.
For Iwata to suggest that a physical disc and digital copy are of equal value is absurd. If you download the game then you can only play it on 1 console, and you cannot trade it in.
Nice Read.
I am more concerned with the actual storage, than the download times. I am really hoping that Nintendo will allow you to use any external hard drive, as opposed to a branded Nintendo one. I have to pick one up for my computer anyways, so it would be nice to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
Off Topic: A very wise man once told me never to buy electronics from Walmart.
On Topic: $350 is perfectly reasonable, especially if you don't have to pay for online service.
Agreed, so many characters.
Smash Bros. is excellent example of a game that is screaming for DLC.
Yea, I am also surprised that Aliens got the shaft. Pikmin not so much, but only because no other first party games were mentioned.
The Best... hardly. Although Epic Mickey definitely had a unique style, and a great look.
Reggie, seriously???
I wonder what his Smash Ball attack would be, convincing me not to play Xenoblade perhaps?
No offense, but I don't wanna play any of the characters on this list (except Little Mac).
@2nd statement
I should be the one apologizing, not you. I was under the impression that we were talking about the Death Penalty, not the elderly, starving kids, and the global population.
I will attempt to get us back on topic...
You speak as if these murderers were all dead, then people would not be starving, and the elderly would be respected... that cannot possibly be your point, because that makes absolutely no sense.
A...
Great points!
I guess my main problem is that I just don't believe that first party software, hurts 3rd party sales significantly. Sure, I wouldn't launch Mario Kart at the same time as the Sonic Racing game because they are too similar. However, everything else should be fair game.
It sounds as if Mario will be present at launch, probably built in, which is fine because I would have purchased that game anyway. I still think that it is perfectly reaso...
To be fair, Iwata warned gamers from the start that the Wii would be going in a different direction than the competition.
Imo the Wii had some great exclusives. My only complaint would be that those exclusives were spread too far apart.
The Wii, however, won me over with the Virtual Console. I was able to build up a fantastic library of the old classics.
Yea, why try to understand murder? What good could possibly come of that, oh I dunno, saving lives perhaps?
"just execute them and get rid of the defect! And yes I would say the same for my own children"
Lmao. You're right, killing people is the perfect way to teach people that killing is wrong. /S
I don't like sounds of this, and I am a HUGE Nintendo fan. I need to see a hell of a lot more than "proposals" at launch.
By the time the WiiU launches, Nintendo will have had well over a year and a half (and that is assuming that they didn't even start working on the console until they announced it last year).
If a company like Ubisoft can have AC3, Ghost Recon, and Rayman Legends available at launch, then Nintendo should be able to offer...
That's funny, because Nintendo already mentioned new IPs coming weeks, if not months, earlier. This is just Miyamoto saying it (again).
It gets even funnier when you think about Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower (all of which are new IPs) coming out this year.
But that's okay... play innocent, I will pretend with you.
It won't explode. They will just start posting more "Nintendo should go 3rd party", so everyone can play their IPs, articles.
Either that, or automatically label the new Ips "shovelware".
Lol@ every rational person tried to telling them...
The Playstation Move and Kinect say hi!
Miyamoto has plenty of credibility, so I don't think he'll be receiving any smacks any time soon.
