Wow, almost missed this one. It would have been nice to also tag for the Wii. It's only been available on the the Virtual Console for a few... months.
Nice Read anyway.
Didn't Crytek say that they were not doing a WiiU game?
If you have a Wii, then the original is definitely worth the download.
I (re)beat it last year, and (imo) the graphics didn't hold it back one bit.
You report first ever annual loss, and people want you buried. How awful.
Love them both, but please, no more remakes. I already own Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask, give me something new.
Nintendo.
LMAO @"Vita is the best handheld gaming device ever"
...Um, how long has the Vita been out again? You can't be serious... how foolish.
If you take Nintendo out of the picture, do you know what you have? The PSP is outselling the Vita... right now, in japan. Oh yea, poor sales stateside too.
It's fantastic hardware, that isn't selling, in a software drought. How do you possibly equate that as the "best handheld ever...
Vita has ports too genius.
Personally, I will take Nostalgia anyday of the week. Nostalgia, by definition, is timeless. OoT for 3DS was an excellent tribute, but it's not the original game (1998 GOTY).
Super Mario Bros. 1, 2 and 3 vs Super Mario Bros. AllStars are a perfect examples. Yes the 3DS graphics look amazing... now, but 10 years from now, the original will still be more highly regarded.
Couldn't disagree more!
I can go out and buy an external harddrive now, for a better price (probably), that will also work with my PC.
I think that his point is that Nintendo can keep the price very reasonable if they stick to external hard drives (sold separately).
Nintendo will be selling retail software for atleast another year, so the WiiU doesn't really need a built-in harddrive. That is... unless you really want to pay $100 more...
Agreed!
For me, Fox's on foot missions always end the same way... the "trade-in shelf" at the local GameStop.
I read a rumor the other day that said that Retro got Metroid back. Although I doubt that they would turn down a chance to do Starfox, I don't think that they'll be working on it.
Anyways, yes, I want a new Starfox too.
This Saturday, you say?
May 5th at Noon?
...thanx for the warning, I will try to avoid the internet at all cost this weekend.
For those actually tuning in to see Patcher get a few more cheap shots in before E3, I can save you the wait:
"WiiU is doomed! Tune in next episode for, the 3DS is still doomed".
Nintendo has said nothing about the release date (rumored for November), just price.
They won't give the exact price at E3, but I am hoping for a ballpark price.
Okay go!
Can't wait to see WiiU games, price, specs, and the Nintendo Network.
I also want to know more about the new X-Com strategy game.
As much as I would love to see King K. Rool, I don't think it will happen.
Was he even in Donkey Kong Country Returns?
Personally, my dream character for Smash Bros. is Frog from Chrono Trigger (highly unlikely I am sure).
Well considering that Nintendo has only reported 1 annual loss, ever, I think that they are in the right business.
Sorry, I guess that you will just have to go out and buy a Nintendo console like everyone else. (Or) Just get a good emulator and some roms.
*cough* show and not say *cough*
"All someone has to do is look at the WiiU and controller to see where Nintendo is going with its new console"
Gee I never realized that the WiiU had a built in Crystal Ball that lets us see into the future.
Actually Akuma-, all somone has to do is LISTEN to what Nintendo has been saying since the WiiU was announced. They have done nothing but say that their focus is for hardcore.
Pu...
I love how you posted all of that in a reply, and only the last 2 sentences are responding to what he actually said about Sony.
