Day 1.
IT'S A SECRET TO EVERYBODY.
Fair enough, perhaps I came off a little bit too "intense". Sorry the Wii didn't cut the mustard for you.
...I bought a Wii, and I love it. (And) Yes, I consider myself as hardcore as they come. I own every single Zelda, Metroid and Mario title, and (re)beat them annually.
The Wii did something for me, that no other system could. The Wii gave me access to all the old games that I worshipped as a child. I absoutely love my library! Chrono Trigger...
Yea, it does seem doubtful doesn't it?
But I dunno man, a lot of people said the same thing about Capcom vs. SNK, and Street Fighter X Tekken. So you never know.
(But) I won't be buying this game anyways, so I won't clog up the Sony comment section any longer.
Enjoy!
"They admitted that they royally screwed us with the Wii and DS..."
Who the hell is "us"? Oh, you mean people that never bought a Wii in the first place? In actuality, those were the individuals that Nintendo addressed when they made that kind of statement. I say "kind of" because Nintendo never admitted to royally screwing anybody.
Furthermore, Nintendo has NEVER said anything negative about the DS. That makes you a liar.
In all fairness, Nintendo didn't make that statement, so how can that turn you off to ANYTHING Nintendo related?
Gee, and all this time I thought that Indie was short for INDEPENDENT.
There are PROS and CONS to being an independent developer... these are the breaks. Don't cry to me about it.
Oh wait nevermind, I forgot, we're still in the "entitlement era" generation of gaming aren't we?
The Legend of Zelda cartoon... man that brings me back. It is also the best reason why Link should remain silent. One liners and cliches anyone?
It would be cool if we eventually got Smash Bros. vs. All-Stars Battle Royale (Smash Bros. X All-Stars Battle Royale, or whatever they are calling crossovers these days).
Just a thought.
Great list.
Personally I would like to see the Four Swords Adventures make a return. With a WiiU pad, and a proper network, I think that that game could be a huge a success.
*GASP*
Somebody who has actually been paying attention. I must have died and gone to... another website.
Old news people, and Shok is right. A dev already confirmed UE 3.9.
Personally I think that they could have done a 2D version of Ocarina of Time, and it would have sold just as well. But, that's just me.
"As for old school titles, just let me import my Wii VC games. That's better than buying them again."
I wish that I could give you 10 Bubble Up votes for that statement alone! That is the issue that people should be raising hell about, not HD/3D remakes.
I am a nostalgia guy, so not my cup of tea. I would rather boot up the orginal, and take that stroll down memory lane.
But you gotta give the people what they want, right?
No... that's like giving your teenage son the keys to Porsche, because he always brings the Minivan back before curfew. Why take that risk?
I don't doubt that Retro could make good Zelda games (hell, Capcom did), but it is highly unlikely that Retro will make the BEST Zelda game.
Retro talents are better suited elsewhere. Retro should be either reviving dead franchises (Starfox, F-Zero, Wave Race etc..), or creating new IPs.
Zelda, a...
I spent a lot of money on the Virtual Console! I think that it is doubtful that we be able to transfer retro titles (you can't even transfer them to another Wii).
Oh well, I guess there is always hope.
Bubble Up+
All that just to succeed at E3 huh? Talk about a tough crowd.
Nice.
If the WiiU has no batteries then the "charging stand" should come standard.
By using my imagination, I turned "boring" news into "practical" news.
Looking forward to all things WiiU
The only thing that Sony is doing is... well nevermind, I am sure that you will play Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale soon enough.
p.s.
Nintendo doesn't make Sonic.
Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link is the only RPG of the series. All of the other games are Action/Adventure.
