It was definitely right up there with WiiMusic.
No...
Nintendo broke my heart lastnight.
I hate to be "this guy", but what happens after the "casuals" become converted? Is Nintendo going to leave them with no "core" games like they left us?
Nintendo is turning me off, and I might be calling it quits. I missed a lot of great games this gen (and Gamecube gen). I cannot completely blame the Big N, because I wanted to stick with them. But I just cannot be a part of this anymore. Nintendo has been around forever, anyone who hasn't at ...
I thought that the Gamecube launched with 2 colors.
Wow... so this is how the F-Zero franchise dies. I never would've guessed it.
Well maybe not, I guess this means that F-Zero is on Nintendo's minds (finally!).
Tripod ftw.
They have only had two whole E3 conferences to figure it out...
I am still a little mad about the press conference, but if I did buy a WiiU on day 1, this would be my first game (even before Rayman Legends).
I am fan too, but an angry one. Here's the problem:
You listed 6 games. For the sake of the argument let's eliminate Nintendo Land, and say that it will come packaged with the WiiU.
You now have 5 games. Two of those 5 games are made by Ubisoft, who not only saved Nintendo's ass this year, but had a great conference. Let's remove those games now, just for the sake of argument.
You now have 3 games left. Mario, Pikmin 3, and Pr...
It wouldn't be a bad idea, but Nintendo cannot wait too much longer. It might p!ss off a lot of developers who were counting on holiday sales. Not to mention that the WiiU has seen 2 E3's already.
Usher bought me a Wonder Book from Nintendo Land.
Thanks for mentioning IGN, Iwata and Reggie were too busy getting their bodies ready with zombie faces to bring this up.
Will the Snoop Dogg stage give my characters a contact high?
I am also a huge fan. All I play is Nintendo consoles (and PC), but THIS is the reality, one fan to another...
For the WiiU this is E3 number 2, not 1. Iwata said that they would "bring back the core" (n4g didn't say it, Iwata did). Reggie said "wait until E3", and we waited...
- Mario is the obvious system seller, but frankly Rayman Legends blew Mario out of the water in terms of graphics and gameplay.
- Rayman Legend...
Let's hope so, or come November I will be "holding back" my wallet.
I don't have a problem with Nintendo Land. I have a problem Mr. Iwata's BS apologies, and promises to bring the hardcore goods.
He makes that claim, and depends solely on 3rd parties to deliver on HIS promise. If Ubisoft wouldn't have came through then Nintendo would have been utterly screwed... and everyone on here knows it.
There are a lot, and it gets old.
Imo Nintendo had the opportunity to shut a lot of mouths today, and they missed it. I am still a fan, but they didn't deliver... and now here comes the backlash.
I don't think that the console is doomed (there is still plenty of time until launch), but Nintendo might want to do some soul searching.
He doesn't have a clue.
I'm not sure. I thought that Nintendo previously told investors that "hardcore" would be the focus.
Who knows?
You are absolutely right...
Although I try to keep my gaming on a budget, I may have to literally put my money where my mouth this.
Well... not too literally.
