That's a lot of games.
As long as Nintendo doesn't monitor what I say to people on my "friends list" then I don't mind.
The press conference was terrible, but 3rd party devs gave me what I needed for now. It's so funny to me that I will actually be buying more 3rd party games, rather than first party.
Launch wishlist so far:
1. New Super Mario Bros. U
2. Rayman Legends
3. Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition
4. Tekken Tag Tournament 2
I will definitely be picking this up.
I expected more graphic-wise, however, I am so excited about the "Super Mario World-like" overworld map. Imo this could mean a very massive world, complete with a ton of alternate paths.
...sold.
Not true. A single Gamepad still runs at 60fps, 2 Gamepads is 30fps.
I am ok with this, however, 30 minutes does sound kinda long. As long as moderation/delay disappears when I talk to people on my friend's list, not a big deal.
Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition comes with ALL the dlc packs!
...that and a completely new control interface, and the B.A.T. combat system...thing lol.
Sounds awesome to me.
This is 1 rare case in Nintendo's history where the 3rd parties are leading the way. It's Nintendo that has, so far, disappointed.
This game was a complete surprise, and I don't remember a release date. Watch Dogs probably won't be releasing on any platform for some time.
Ubisoft could very well have more than enough time to get this baby running on the WiiU.
Ubisoft
Ubisoft just keeps coming to the WiiU's rescue. Get these people a Super Man cape!
I am not complaining. I actually think that it's awesome that a 3rd party finally has Nintendo's back.
I am surprised that he didn't pick the "brand new", Arkham City Armored Edition (I am still getting this game!).
Reggie's not telling me what I want to hear, so his words mean nothing to me. I just needed a good laugh.
I cannot stand Patcher either, but he was right about E3. He called a "sequel fest" and that is what we got.
Imo Nintendo's killer apps have all come from Ubisoft (ZombiU and Rayman). Pikmin 3 looked great... but that's just not me, and Mario looks like he hasn't been taking his vitamins since last gen.
I would have prefered an HD demo of the next F-Zero game.
True, I also thought Pikmin 3 looked great.
I am not too worried though because it's a Miyamoto game, designed from the ground up on WiiU. It cannot lose, and come launch time gamers will be "kissing the ring".
ZombiU was a complete surprise, and it looks great. The Survival Horror genre is always interesting. Imo Rayman Legends is the best WiiU exclusive for now, however, I would be a fool to doubt ZombiU's potential.
All Nintendo fans really need to show Ubisoft some form of support this holiday. They have given us ZombiU, Rayman Legends, AC3 and more... show 'em some serious love.
I know what you are trying to say, but...
We knew that we weren't getting Zelda HD in 2011, and Nintendo still gave us a demo to wet our beaks.
Anyways, I will cut to the chase, here is my problem. Let's forget about the conference (if we can).
Nintendo Land is a collection of mini games. Infact, if I might be so bold, these are the games that we have been begging for (how many years has it been now?).
They can make a...
Nothing comparable to Super Mario 64 was unveiled lastnight... or even mentioned by Nintendo. I am a huge fan, and yet I feel like a 2nd class citizen. Iwata, and Reggie, have gotten a taste of casual money and have went overboard. They are officially hooked.
I love Mario, but New Super Mario Bros. U just didn't wow me like Super Mario 64's unveiling. Now, will I still buy it... of course, you can't go wrong with Mario, but that isn't the point anymore.
It's been two E3's already.
At E3... the 3DS by a mile.
The Vita can't even take on the PSP.
