Agreed.
The 3DS isn't going anywhere for a very long time, and it shouldn't. I just don't see any design changes in it's future.
Most of the handheld games don't require these changes. Pokemon won't need it, and neither will the new Smash Bros. game etc. etc..
Personally I woudn't miss the Slingshot, if Nintendo decided to get rid of it. It made sense in OOT because you were a child, but as an adult it strikes me as awkward.
How awful...
I always thought that the character Devdan (Danved) from Fire Emblem was offensive. As a black man, he just always bothered me. He bothered me so much that I wished he was not even in the game. Not even beautiful Fiona from Radiant Dawn could make me feel any better.
...that's why I quit playing.
In a way I guess that I am, however, it is true that I still want it.
If you are really interested, my hope was that with dual analogs the 3DS could serve as another controller for the WiiU. I know it's far-fetched, but call it this cheapskates' dream.
To honest though, must of the handheld games that I am interested in don't require dual analogs. So yea, I'll let them off the hook.
I loved Skyward Sword. I admit that while I do not believe it is the best Zelda title (Ocarina of Time), it is quite good (#3 on my list).
I have no problem defending this game:
- Skyward Sword's run, climb, and stamina mechanics were an awesome addition to the series. Most people complain about the motion plus gameplay, but I have never had any issues. Infact, I would argue that it was able to bring back the action packed feel of the original, 2D Zeldas....
Uh... DS = Dual Screen
... Dual = Two.
Why would Nintendo change the 3DS to look like the Vita, a handheld that it's currently thrashing right now?
On Topic:
I wanted two analogs too... but, it's not going to happen. Nintendo is already working on the 3DS successor, so adding it now would be a waste.
Lmao.
Oh dear, this is such a problem. Perhaps we should start asking these kids for photo ID before we let them purchase a non Nintendo product.
Is there any point to articles like these, besides being divisive?
The point that the author is trying to make is that he believes that every following 3D Zelda was able to improve upon the masterpiece that we know of as OOT.
This is fair enough, and that is his opinion. Imo OOT is the greatest Zelda title ever made, also my favorite game of all time! It has the best story, dungeons, and relevance (if you're into timeline theory).
STORY:
OOT is by far the best representation of the dual world theme. The transform...
@ JoNaZ_RG
Lol, I am responding to what you said, "...just show the damn title and i'll believe you are really supporting it"
...After they show the damn title...
"What about something we haven't seen or 5 start upcoming titles."
Don't you think you are being a tad bit unreasonable? After all, the WiiU hasn't even launched yet. How many games were you expecting from EA during the launch wi...
Well... AC3, ZombiU, and Rayman Legends are great starts. One new game, and two exclusives! Imo all Ubisoft has to do is keep up the good work.
...I don't remember the PS3 or 360 having two Ubi exclusives at launch.
They showed a clip of Mass Effect 3 at E3. What's not to believe?
Unless the "you guys" that you are referring to is Namco, or Nintendo, that comment was pointless.
You should probably check out Smash Bros. Brawl too!
*spoiler*
Snake and Sonic are in it!
She would be a good candidate for Smash Bros.
Last gen EA, and other 3rd party devs, were telling us that you MUST own an HD television.
I'm sorry but I just can't resist.
This article is about Free-to-play, but has a picture of a Capcom fighting game.
This title should be an actual Nintendo Land mini game.
I really wish Nintendo would have made the "5th wheel" options similar to the character in Rayman Legends.
That being said, the "5th wheel" is bound to impress more people than it will irritate. Nintendo has done well with local multiplayer in the past, and are just trying to keep it fresh.
I never had a Playstation, so FF6 was always my favorite.
I never lost faith in them, however, I had to acccept Nintendo for what they are. Nintendo lives by the code of the trend-setter.
Imo Nintendo would choose to fail miserably with their own ideas, rather than succeed on the ideas of other men. Most of the time this philosophy has pushed innovation and worked wonders for Nintendo, but there have also been misfires.
Nice read.
I want:
- run and climb mechanic from Skyward Sword
- more upgrades
- game menus on the controller
- return of the Great Fairies
