I can only remember 1 good article on the hiphopgamer site (not written by the man himself.

In my opinion he represends the same audience who are destroying online gaming and are fueling flame wars(big mouthed punks)

As to the show I can see why some people like it, but my preference goes out to an more professional approach and less preadolescent approach which the show and the site clearly have.

HVD (holographic versatile disc) still seems the future to me simply because this is as far as I know a techbology with the fastest disc reading speed so far eliminating install requirements etc.

And yes HVD disc is still allive and is still aiming to replace DVD.

"combined with low bit cost and ease of use will revolutionaries the enterprise data management and home entertainment."

Don't know what to make from this. The quote could easily be out of context. Please leave the reporting to real reporters.

Well to be faire one of the devs Hulst concedes multiplatform developers could take more issue working with the Playstation 3.

Even if I the PS3 is a simpler architecture than some of the other consoles like the xbox 360. It might be easier if you have the wright knowledge and experience to develop for the ps3.

But if you don't have the wright knowledge and experience developing for the pc and xbox 360 is easier. The necessairy skills developing for the xbox 360 and ...

I do think it is possible though not viable at the moment since there aren't that many housholds with a high speed connection. But that might not be a bad thing since a service like this probably can't handle a large number of (new)subscribers.

In the near future like mentioned in the article 2013-2014, I don't see any reasons why it couldn't be sustainable and profitable platform.

At the moment I have an 20 mb connection fastest available in my neighborhood is 120MB...

Strange question Halo3 is compared to other big franchises one of the younger franchises and has just started to stretch its legs.

Hope it's true though

I agree that there won't be a next generation al least until the economy starts to pick up again.

Looking at the current generation consoles there are signs that the live cycle will be longer give or take 7-10 years instead of 4-5 years.

Reason why I believe this is because both Sony and Microsoft are looking at new (motion) controllers which if supported correctly (marketing/games wise) could lengthen the life span of their consoles.

Or simply put inst...

Still one more year to wait

How do they figure that, the first person worrying about more competition should be steam.

Though I do agree that it's a solution which removes a lot of possible hardware problems.

maybe they are both the same thing (third party controller/ new motion controller)

6169d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Sure It won't be a problem the only thing they will need to do is launch a reliable new xbox 360.

With the emphasis on new xbox 360 in the form of a slim edition, to differentiate itself from the older moddel with reliability issues.

Even if they don't do any of this microsoft succeeded in creating a succesfull new brand with the xbox 360.

As a side note the first xbox was a good piece of hardware, bit ugly but reliable.
