It was overhyped for no reason.
People expected Wolverine gameplay AND GoT2…
I’m still hoping for Factions news on 6/14, the 10th anniversary 🤞
EDIT: Marathon is multiplatform, which is good.
Can’t wait to see which IP will be exclusive to ps5, not gonna lie
4/5
Loved:
-Phantom Blade Zero
-PSVR2 games overall
-Everything they chose to show and NOT show for Spider-Man 2
Would’ve preferred:
-Zero multi-console games
-More timelines for updates on games (DS2, KOTOR, Wolverine, Factions, Bungie’s PS5-exclusive IP, FACTIONS, LoU2 remaster, etc)
I would’ve rather been told gameplay for Factions comes January’24, even though they promised an update 2023...
Marathon from Bungie was a showstopper, imo.
I feel Ike that game is why M$ is spite-spending
I would be soooo happy to see 5 seconds of gameplay for Wolverine…. I just need to know whether they’re ALSO doing juggle combos…I’d prefer not to with that character.
I hope their vision comes together, same with Redfall.
So many games make HUGE strides in the final years of production. Kratos’s axe recall didn’t get finalized until very late in production. Halo Infinite took forever to develop, but I’ll be damned if that warthog doesn’t handle PERFECTLY. Could still use more maps though…
Look what Platinum games did with Kojima’s Raiden game in less than a year, after Kojima had to scrap it?
All ...
If you have an issue with Mortal Kombat, then just move off the grid already…
If you don’t like it, then don’t buy it for your kid.
Next.
@jivah Time Crisis and Soldier of Fortune were FPS, so I don’t know how they had cover mechanics…
Killswitch DID have standout cover mechanics at the time, but Gears 100% improved upon them. Those improvements were significant, I remember Gears just handling better.
Yeah, and we’ve beef asked to wait for a sequel, as I hope to do so for GoT.
Games like Skyrim aren’t made in 6 years, like GoT.
Showcase is ps5 and psvr2 only.
The kill animations should’ve been free…. It feels weird to pay for those.
Why are people so focussed on GoT2?
I don’t want a sequel…. Not every game needs perpetual sequels.
Sometimes, we can be one and done for a generation, at least, like with Skyrim.
Lawbreakers was good, just underfunded….
His chainsaw bayonet was brilliant, and the cover mechanics set a standard for the whole industry moving forward.
CliffyB is similar to David Jaffe: brilliant game designers that probably don’t need the money or headache of delivering another AAA juggernaut for pushy executives.
It still hasn’t recovered from the departure of CliffyB and Bungie…
Spider-Man is more of an aerial hero ;)
About time….
Love DMC5, hate air juggling… I’m praying Wolverine has none of it.
All I’m saying is I’ve watched my fiancé play for at least 20 hours now, and nothing seems to have compared to the Forest Temple’s hallways in Majora’s Mask.
But I’m sure there is more to come. I DO have alotta respect for the climbing and building mechanics… those would’ve been fun 20-25 years ago on N64.
….it’s worst?
