just a question (and anyone can answer), you say "We are still in the early adopter phase for all 3 consoles", the XBOX360 has been out well over a year (here in north america), how much more time will it take to be considered out of the early adopter phase? this is just a question, i am no fanboy, i like both PS3 and Xbox360 so don't kill me...

That's it. No need to rush, any job worth doing is worth doing right (especially the GoW series).

@ sodslawgy...Yeah i was thinking the same thing.

i am one of the many waitng on the PS3 to be more of a worthwhile buy in terms of games for me, i do hope these "workshops" get developers more up to speed and knowledgable about working with the Cell processor so the final result would be more great games sooner than later.

@ grifter024...i kind of agree with you about your view on that $5 "water" game, but it is actually a very smart move by ...

about 2010! i am a gamer first and foremost. I want to enjoy games now. i am a long time fan of Playstation (i had the ps1 and still enjoy the ps2), and i hope like all hell PS3 kicks ass in the future. but for me, that is in the future, and i won't buy the PS3 until there's enough of a game library that interests me.

i hate Microsoft, but i think they make a kick ass game console in the 360, thats why i bought one during the holidays. i don't play online, but i am fully enjoyi...

Simply awsome.

I just hope the game is as good as the last three, i could care less about the movie, especially a jerry Bruckheimer movie.

that was the top game i had in mind when i mentioned it, but i am sure they will do it with some originality (hopefully). For me it would suck if it felt out of place or just sort of stuck on for an extra gimmick. i really enjoyed God of War 1, absolutely amazing game i thought.

i guess that no decapitations or torn apart bodies could be a let down, i feel for ya.

yup, agree on the graphics. I, myself, wasn't let down by the muddier graphics too much but it wasn't as nice as the first one.

i also had this thought about the third one, although i loved it, but adding to that feeling i had of it being rushed, i felt that the third one tried too hard to get back to the first one. i mean, the graphics were muddy at some points but they were ...

Deepbrown, the fighting mechanics were amazingly fun in the second and third. The only thing i missed in the third was the occassional quick action camera shot when you threw a weapon at an enemie.

Example, i remember numerous times when i was practically surrounded by enemies and fighting them off with a sword in one hand and an axe in the other, then beating a couple of guys back and from a distance throwing the axe and the camera would swing around the back of the enemy, sh...

Is it possible to get enough prople to just not answer "fanboyistic" comments, so as not to feed these people the energy they feed off of. I mean if you don't reply to their fanboy comments maybe they will
ease up or get the hint.

It is usually the insecure person that has the need to make themselves feel better by knocking down someone or something else, most of the mature people here already know this. They will always be around, just ignore them until they c...

I thoroughly enjoyed this game (the entire trilogy), i was really hoping they would do another game or story line and bring it out on the new consoles. Can't wait.

i totally agree with your statement, in fact, i only buy them for the gaming as well, i guess thats why i returned my blue-ray player because i feel it isn't worth it yet. even the ps3 isn't worth it yet for me in terms of games but it will be.

I'm sure most people understand that the HDDVD and BR machines aren't going to be $1000.00 forever, all electronics drop in price. Some people (early adopters) though like spending money on whats new and enjoy it. To each their own, if y...

I have a subwoofer with my 5.1 system, i agree with you that it is needed to have the full theatre experience in sound. But as for rumble, it isn't the same because the rumble responds to so many game environment effects that help directly link the gamer to whats happening. i have had times when there is a quiet moment in the game but the rumble was responding to an enemy sneaking up on me with practically no sound. In Need for speed, i love the rumbling effect when you are peeling wheels, th...

like i said it was gorgeous to the point that it actually looked better than the $1000.00 blue-ray player i bought originally, which i ended up returning because of the PS3.

I'm just slightly "ashamed" because i have had a playstation since the first one was launched.

I am ashamed to say it but i had one, but sold it because it was just sitting there, not many games yet i was interested in. So i got the 360 so i wouldn't go into game withdrawal, good purchase!

Hell, i'd go out and buy another PS3 right now, but the games i want won't be coming out for a long time. It does make a great Blue-ray player though, movies were gorgeous on my 50" HDTV.

Just concentrate on getting the rumble back into the controller, thats all you need to do with the controller, we don't need new controllers yet.

Rumble baby! Not sure how i feel about Sixaxis, tried it a little, gets boring real quick...
Rumble does put you into the the game more than if there isn't any. It's funny how you don't truly realize it until you try the same game experiences without it, and there this disconnect feeling to the game, rumble is definitly needed.
i think someone should make a rumble hat...yes a hat...LOL imagine the head trauma!!
sorry just cracking myself up.

you absolutely get more for your money with the PS3 ( i can't wait to get mine). I have said this before as a reply to people comparing prices, the xbox 360 can easily cost that much $600 with the add-ons to match what you get with PS3, and that doesn't include ANY games at all. When i picked up my xbox 360, this was definitely the case. So IMO the price comparing is BS, PS3 is a good price and when the games come, definitly a worthy buy.

It would be nice to hear a confirmation, personally i would just want the harddrive though.

I also agree that 2007 is the year of 360, 2008 may be a different story i would like to own a PS3 again (i sold mine since it just sat there and bought the xbox360 with the profit). i hope sony does well, having two systems neck and neck would probably bring out some incredible games.

i think both systems are going to just keep leap frogging each other, ones better now, t...
