I say yes to more LOTR movies, especially the two part hobbit movie coming in a few years. As for gears, NO.
Can't we all just get along? :(
I like the fact that the designers or devs, are taking into account the actual situations and what would make more sense. I guess i would agree with the Brumack situation, but i definitly am happy to see that Kratos needs to inflict damage to maintain control of the beast, makes more sense for the character and his situation.
That is your opinion, and you are entitled to it, at least you give one reason why :)
about the upscale thing, I have both versions, both look great :)
Yeah OK, read it, it is hard to tell on my 24" monitor but when i moved it to my 50" HDTV a minute ago, watching it there is better detail in the 720 version although only slight...but who cares.
Everyones different, i have sort of the same issue as you yet different. Loved Oblivion, finished it, took me about 209 hours. the thing that i didn't like about oblivion was the dungeons/caves were almost all exactly the same. Where fallout 3, i felt the 'underground' areas differed enough to keep it fresh. i do agree about the grey brown thing but it didn't bother me too much.
But, Oblivion made me want to play it twice, i am currently playing a new character, but only casually...
I take my wife to a show, no flowers or candy or other crap, she doesn't want them for Valentines day because she is a Floral designer. For my Valentine's gifts, she gave R&CFTOD (i've been wanting to get that game) and Army of Two so she can game with me (she loves kickin ass). Love ya wifey!!!
+Bubbles!
I just watched it again. It reminds me quickly of how well cinematically directed the first two were and it looks even better for the third. Just superb!
and just recently finish Gears 2, loved Gears 1, Gears 2 bored the hell out of me. i am not going to bother with Gears 3....
good stuff, but hard to bother with the screengrabs when 1080 dl is on my desktop on loop :)
Come launch day, my living room is gonna big one big spiraling vortex of CHAOS!!! AHHHHHHHH!
That was a serious slice of AWESOME!!!
That was pretty impressive for $500.00. That short film sequence trumps some of the garbage coming out of hollywood lately.
I could easily see this getting picked up by the Sci-Fi network and be the next big television series. Like Battlestar Galactica. hell, i might start watching TV again if this was on...
Actually, scratch that last idea of TV, leave it on the net, this way there isn't anyone (networks) screwing it up...
It says Kratos is a cluster of pixels compared to the titans, thats awesome! Brings to mind SOTC (an amazing and unique gaming experience itself), but on an even larger scale.
I just keep all my controllers in a hide-a-way drawer, out of site. Much neater than any rack, no clutter around my home entertainment center.
i like what I am seeing here...
Quote: "we want this to be the game that shows people what the PS3 can do", I say, we already know, let just get to doin' it!!! AhhAhhaha!
i just hope it has a good tight story, and whatever improvements they make on gameplay will more than keep me happy. As for graphics, hey, just make it a little shinier than the last two, and I am a happy gamer.
I just mentioned this as a joke on that article yesterday on N4G: "what color should the PS4 be?" I said it should have a cloaking outer shell (like the predator) so it just blends in with the decor.
One of my favorite scenes in the GOW series still is when i first played GOW1 and that huge ass Minotaur comes out and faces off with you just before the fight. That dude went from one end of my 50" hdtv to the other and I couldn't see where he began and where he ended. I was on my couch with chips falling out of my mouth...
Ahhh, good times, good games :)
