There is a hell of alot more going on in life nowadays than gaming that contributes to the changing lifestyles. I think the problem is with the people who can't accept these changes.

For a while i worked in New York as a creative director for a pharmaceutical ad agency, making a very nice 6 digit salary. I did the whole schooling thing, i went out and got a 'career', I bought my wife and i a home among other things. I am proud to say video games were (and still are) a big part o...

They did mention that "Simpler versions of the game will be published for PlayStation 2 and Nintendo’s Wii and DS platforms."

There would be sacrifices.

also: "Making The Force Unleashed a next-gen game meant a couple of things. For one, every time new consoles are introduced, game-makers essentially have to start a brand-new computer-code base that is compatible with the new hardware, and each console requires its own proprietary code. “It would be li...

I am looking forward to a handful of games, but this one is my personal "highly anticipated". If they can really provide gamers with a nicely polished game, this will be the big jump forward in video games.

eLInes was mildly mistaken, no foul!! Now we can be friends, thank you very much eLines. Feel free to PM anytime...

I am not that new to this site, been around awhile, i just don't partake in most of the discussions. Maybe this comment above i had said sound like these other people, but it is the first time anybody has grouped me with anyone else. Before eLines or anyone else says something along these lines (especially when false) they should review a persons comment list and such to double check. I don't get offended, i was actually trying to correct him just in case he didn't realize he was wrong.

i was just jokin' about the HDDVD in light of all the BR BS out there, no harm no foul, and i think eLines is mistaking me for someone else.

LaChance, glad you are being amused, not sure what you mean by "got you" . but if you feel fulfilled today, more power to you...

I am not "nasim" never was. I don't even know who that is. But seeing as you a person who doesn't know what they are talking about, i would love to be on your ignore list, gives me something to look forward to...

(by the way, i was joking about the Xbox 360 HDDVD player, i don't have one for my xbox 360, just a little humor...)

allows for more productive learning. I am not saying Air is a mistake/failure, or a success for that matter... too early, time will tell. Yes wireless is a big thing with many people, but no one is "shoving" it in your face, that is why there are choices.

Thank you for stating the obvious... i know Mac mini doesn't come with a screen, I was stating an idea of another possible demographic target for the Air....

I was even questioning this one as it was. I think it should have been the laptop equivalent of the Mac Mini, kind of like a laptop mini. The Mac mini is a bare bones computer for $500.00, the Air should have at least been along those lines. When i buy Mac, price usually isn't an issue, but the Air did have me scratching my head. If it is rethought in the "mac-mini" thinking, as well as similarly priced, i think it could work out...

It's not how much you use, but how you use it! ;)

Just ignore the "debate". I do. Just gets down to childish BS most times. Unless i see something that is really bad that is making news about one of the versions for a specific console, i just told bother listening.

i had a teacher in martial arts that would hold his sword like that, truly badass, enables you to strike and block as well as pivot and change direction with minimal effort. Makes me wish i took up more sword classes...never got into that type of training.

A definite buy! Looking pretty good for the most part, the only thing i thought could be improved upon from that clip was the Rancor, he looked a little last gen to me. Loving the physics!!

I am kinda mixed on this one.

On one hand (pardon the pun), i can definitely see many different motions and gestures that could be utilized to act as different functions. Literally could grab and move windows around, simple twitch of a finger to click, and so on. I'd like to see this.

On the other hand, if this isn't implemented correctly, and too much movement is required of the hand wearing this, it easily could lead to discomfort in the wrist and/or some carpo...

A few years back, i changed my HDD in my G4 and there were some issues i encountered later on (nothing to do with the actual physical hard drive), something i did wrong somewhere upon re-installing all my "stuff". Called up, told them i put my own HDD in recently (one i had bought on newegg) and they helped me without question.

As for the video card, I had to upgrade that back when i bought one of those Apple Studio Displays that came with that ADC connector.
