and apparently a "pompous asshole", according to the scriptures of bootsielon, i don't believe my product is "best". I would say i prefer it because it works and works really, really well.
I love listening to people like zonetrooper5 talk, i sometimes forget how much ignorance there is out there...
If McFarland was doing the figures and collection.
After reading this i am interested and believe this could have a shot at being a good movie.
"Raiders of the Lost Ark" slash "Pirates of the Caribbean" styling, i can live with that. Sounds good lets get to work!!
Not sure i agree or disagree with you. The CD industry having trouble because the modern music industry "sucks". Maybe. But many people, not all people, really like the digital music downloads, picking a song or two of a CD they don't wish to buy. I love it. I thought the same thing about music CDs a long time ago, i want to own a physical item when i buy my music. But that quickly went the way of the dodo after i tried it for a little while. Now i can't imagine ever buying another ...
Oops, my bad, apologies to all on this comment, i was misinformed, I pulled up the wrong source.. not something i usually do, thanks Adamalicious!
"All a mac really does is photo editing, video editing, and... help me out here"
I see a lot a people say ignorant little comments like this when apple macs comes into conversation, and it truly amazes me. Yes, you can do photo/video editing, but macs can do just about anything a PC can, not all, but that isn't bad thing either, and usually much better. Even though i started on macs doing high end graphic editing, i have moved away from that a little and run two other...
someone isn't liking this article and comments, everyone here got a disagree...
I have to agree with the people saying you don't have to upgrade your hardware, the games just work. I use my computer to do everything (surf net, run two businesses, day to day house crap, etc.), but no gaming. I love that fact. As a matter of fact i forgot that that was a factor in PC gaming, i stopped PC gaming when the original playstation came out. The only problem i have had was the RRoD on the 360 which happened last month.
Anyone have a thought on this question: If cons...
this review alone made me have a Mass Effect in my pants!
i would be the one you are referring to because i don't play online at this time. One: i comment because i have freedom of speech on something i have a feeling about. Two: because i played online games for years and would like to continue when i get time again. Three: I like sony's console better than microsoft's, and i would like to see sony do better. NO reason to get crazed this is still a discussion.
Not a console seller, not to serious gamers. I have been a Sony PS fan for years and i still am, but i haven't upgraded to a PS3 yet because i haven't found a good enough reason to do so. I bought it on launch day, and resold it because it just sat there. And i haven't been impreessed enough with any of the games to buy yet. i actually had to buy a 360 because the games are there and they are good and all i do is play paly play.
As for Home, i don't play online anymore, just d...
No problem on my Widescreen HDTV, no adjustments necessary. Man this game is SICK!!! I gotta hurry up and finish my work so i can continue playing this morning....
I won't read into all the hype, but i will try it to know first hand whether or not it's for me. i tell you what, the games that have a learning curve for the controls are the ones i really enjoy and feel i get the most out of. I feel more apart of the experience, as if you were honing your skill to achieve your goals. I do enjoy the button mashing games too. i like when there is more than one way to do something or attack an enemy. i think people, gamers and developers, get too comfortable s...
these events going completely online. Talking specifically to the console systems, the respective companies (MS and Sony) could have their own "expo" through their online services that could last a certain number of days. And so many more people could be apart of it. It would probably crash alot. I was thinking about this HOME Sony has coming, which i think is pretty useless, but this kind of event could be interesting if done on that service. Make a whole new digital event.
Just to add a thought to what a couple of people are saying about "the long term win" or "the winner" of the console war. Why do you people see this as a race? where does it end? It is good that there are competitive consoles. people will continue to buy what they like. Maybe by 2010, both console will be closely matched in terms of installed base. This is technology people, it will always continue to advance, and get faster, better, whatever. I find it a pity that so many...
as much as i like my xbox 360 i feel one of the main reasons i bought it was so i could play games now (the immediate impact). it is a decent console but has not blown me away by any means, i am still playing my ps2 more than the xbox. If PS3 ever gets it together and has some decent games (doesn't have to be just exclusives) i will grab one.
As for playing catch up, i do agree that this time around PS3 does have alot of work to do. Xbox is more the competition, obviously, than wii is ...
I guess both OS have their plus and minuses, but i am an apple person all the way.
People say they are expensive computers. Well, they are, but i have had my dual processor Mac for 7 and a half years with zero problems, and the only upgrading i do is the memory every few years. That in itself is worth the price, no question. Even when i upgraded the OS to OS X, i didn't have any hardware that had to be upgraded, it was a smooth transition. i went back and looked at the receipts...
this article says exactly what an aquaintance of mine (not exactly a friend) had said. He and a team of others work on beta testing "new gadget technologies", elite being one of those they tried out. He told me a couple of weeks ago that there is next to NO NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE between the HDMI vs. component for the video games. He did go on to say it does have a slight, yes SLIGHT, difference when veiwing movie content. They use 6 different types of monitors and HDTVs to better com...
In reply to 8.5:
–"Can you install more internal capacity or change your internal Components?" YES
– "Can you reformat your hard drive if you need to?" YES
–"If by some chance your Mac's primary HDD fails, can you replace it yourself? No" uhh YES
–"I've been a PC tech for 20 years, and my knowledge has evolved with the times" So has your ignorance...
