It could mean that... Or it could mean that gamers from last gen have simply upgraded more quickly.
Remasters make sense because it's a cheap way to capitalize on the lack of backward compatibility
Yeah I'm in preview. Snap center and the snap menu are both more responsive, and the party app loads more quickly, but the achievements app and friends app still take ages to load it seems.
Both...
But definitely halo.
Looks like it's the first next gen masterpiece...
I bet the folks who didn't care about reviews will start caring again!
True, but I don't like playing with the achievements app open... I want the my whole screen dedicated to the game I'm playing...
If snap opened instantly, I wouldn't have a single complaint. I'd just open it, get a glance, then close it and continue playing. But sometimes it takes me up to 30seconds to find out the details of an acheivement I've unlocked.
Now, I can just read the notification and keep playing... It's a much more el...
I can't overstate how happy I am for this....
Snap is great in theory, but it's still much slower than the guide button was on the 360. It was a chore to go to snap every time I unlock an achievement to see what exactly I accomplished. Now I don't have to stop playing to find out.
@otaku
There are no laws, but there are common expectations. The general gamer in 2015 expects to be able to coordinate with their teammates in conpetitive shooters.
It's simply a disappointing omission from a game that is overflowing with tactical potential. There's no logical explanation, given the technology that has become standardized over the last decade, to not have this as an option...
Well there no "literal" way to take it, because 'more' is an absolute term ... So using a modifier like 'almost ' doesn't make sense. Still if I had to guess, he meant that the autonomy granted by Nintendo and MS was similar, but differences in structure of each makes a 1:1 comparison difficult... So he through the word 'almost' in
It is strange, but in no way implies less freedom...
Given that rare was a second party to Nintendo, but completely owned by MS, the fact that MS has given them so much freedom is eye opening... Especially considering the Internet rumors to the contrary.
No one should be ok with this. Not in 2015... You can't have a proper online shooter without being about to coordinate with your team. The game looks great by the way, and looks to have to potential to be a truly unique competitive shooter, but Nintendo seems insistent in handicapping themselves.
I don't think it would really effect madden... Especially since there aren't licensed teams...
Was there any doubt that their would be improvements after the beta?
It wouldn't be bad if it happened every now and again. But if it happened often, it would get old quickly... Especially during difficult sections and when fighting bosses...
Well, I haven't seen the first person say they game will suck because of loading times... But there are already sarcastic comments suggesting this is part of some sort of conspiracy to trash ps4 games..
It's a valid complaint. Yet people are saying things like 'and so it begins' and 'the press had to find something' or 'people need something to complain about'
The cynism makes no sense. 40s is simply an annoying amount of tim...
Hmm hopefully the day one patch addresses this... its not a game breaker, but would definitely be a major annoyance...
Why are some people pretending this wouldn't be a valid thing to complain about?
Just because the game has a metacritic of 6 doesn't mean that everyone will think it's bad...
In fact, I'm sure there are many people who skipped the game because of the reviews, who will find out they actually enjoy the game...
Also, 6 doesn't mean a game isn't worth playing. If it got a 0 - 3 I'd say that it's worthless, but 6 is worth a shot. Especially if you don't have to pay anything.
Why wouldn't it know where the walls are?
People have already demoed Hololens, and it was very much able to process the location of walls, table tops, and other surfaces...
This product clearly works along the same lines...
None of the halo's had dedicated servers... Until MCC... Which also has p2p for when the dedi's fail, which was pretty often initially....
This is great news...
It's almost criminal that we don't have a new banjo or jet force Gemini yet...
I look at the kinect sports rivals demo... It's quite the lush and beautiful engine , especially for a launch title... It's a shame it was wasted in a mediocre kinect game... But Banjo and JFG would look SOO good on it!
Apparently, f2p FPS is big in Russia, while the halo and Xbox brands are small.
Sound like a great opportunity to grow the brand and the perfect place to test the business model...
So as strange and random as it is, it makes sense...
