Ofcourse they're going to be compared.
Every other Driveclub video on youtube (I was following the game because it looked great - I'm a PC gamer btw), the top rated comments would be something along the lines of "This destroys Forza", or something else bashing FH2.
Obviously they're going to be compared. They are the only racers coming out exclusively at about the same time. Saying they shouldn't be compared is like saying no console wars....
Are you even thinking about what you're saying ?
He said "I prefer the one exclusive to XBOX", which means he/she prefers Forza 2. That's it. Is it that hard to not take that sentence out of context ?
AC 1 would have to be higher for me. At the time I was simply amazed by the game. The first game to offer such incredibly cool gameplay at such high fidelity
@DanteVFenris666
How was the first garbage ? It was fascinating at the time. The only game that had such brilliant mechanics in an open world with such high fidelity. The fact that you could do all this parkour, ride horses, stealth around and assassinate. I was in awe of the game.
In the later AC games (after 2), these things became boring, because they were just the same thing again and again. In AC1 and AC2, it was great because the basic gameplay was exciting
True, if they can fix what they apparently got wrong with the singleplayer, the variety and so on, it should please just about everyone.
From what I can tell, the presentation and the core driving experience look brilliant.
Or maybe they just didn't like it. Some sites scored it lower because of the 'soulless singleplayer'. That maybe true - maybe the reviewer was just a bit more focused on the progression, the online, and the variety of the game rather than the visuals and core driving experience.
Don't make assumptions like that, makes you look like a fanboy :P
Look at the article, especially the title. If it were more sensational overall, or focused on The Order 1886, there'd be a ton of comments. Not to mention, n4g is a site where I've always seen more PS fanboys than XBOTs (PC gamer here) :P
On a side note, damn, now I'm worried about Arkham Knight :(
"
I don't like how people are making assumptions on this game by that ONE level which was made playable."
I don't understand why people keep saying this. Its a demo. It was chosen specifically by the devs to show off some of the game's features. When multiple articles pop up saying that the 15-20 minute demo showcase was boring in a lot of ways, then you'd have to be stupid to say "Oh they are just stupid, making assumptions, and they...
I've been more excited for PCars - I'm kind of a PCars fanboy (in a good way :D)
but I have to say - OH MY WORD, This game has phenomenal visuals. PS exclusives showing their prowess again. I'm a PC gamer, and I love PC over everything for many reasons, but again, all these brilliant console exclusives are just soooo amazing in so many different ways.
Hope the game plays as good as it looks, so you guys and girls can enjoy it ! :)
Lol why are there are so many people feeling hurt about the author's opinion ?
Saying that you diagree is fine, but stop using stupid arguments to indefinitely conclude that the author's opinion is crap. it's not like most of you have even played them.
Even saying things like "Yeah LOTF basically is for people who get killed in Bloodbourne" How is difficulty an issue when its clearly been emphasized how difficult the game actually is ?
Both lo...
Yeah, its a real pity how the gameplay turned out.
Just look at their first 2 crysis games - Talk about complex and fun gameplay mechanics. Don't understand why they went this way with Ryse.
Read the article. It felt too clunky maybe ? Apparently, enemies who were on fire just wouldn't die. He did use it right eventually, that's when he said it was unresponsive.
It's his opinion, if he didn't like it he didn't like it.
Really (Wolfenstein)? those were only the super early previews at the previous year's E3. Later on, I read so much positive news on it. Couple that with those kickass trailers and I was certain the game was going to be great.
The Order should be good overall though. The best thing to do is what you said - just wait and see how it turns out.
Yes, the title is kind of click bait.
However its funny when I see everyone saying this.
"Its just a demo its just an 8 minute demo" So what ? It is what Ready At Dawn decided to showcase for their game. The author obviously says multiple times that this is not representative of the final product. At the end of the day, though, the demo was boring ! It's that simple. Ofcourse, that gives cause for concern ! Why wouldn't it ? Or right, it's just...
Doesn't really matter in this case to me. Destiny seems to have very basic physics... (most people seem to agree with that. Am I wrong about that though?)
Normally I'm excited for any high quality game even if it's on consoles, especially those incredible exclusives... get me really jealous (I am a PC gamer).
I was really excited for Destiny because Bungie was making it. Recently though, from what I've seen, it looks like just another good eno...
If you want a phone that has brilliant games on it, and I mean proper hardcore experiences, not those stupid fps games you find on both phones... I mean games with great visuals, sound, INTUITIVE CONTROLS..., fantastic gameplay with lots of depth
Then go for the iphone. They have a bunch of passionate devs actually making quality games. Examples include Infinity Blade series, Republique.
Android has much fewer of these. With support from major devs, you can expect some great...
That's what every other person says out of ignorance.
There are a bunch of good games, especially on iOS. Experiences that are definitely good enough to be considered hardcore.
Great visuals
Great controls - mobile gaming doesn't need buttons, devs need to tailor their game to mobile so they don't use virtual d-pads
Great gameplay, with lots of depth.
Don't know what more is needed to classify as 'hardcore'
...
Nope, not a complete joke.
Especially if you have an iphone, there are a bunch of absolutely fantastic games to pick up, with brilliant quality and depth. They feel very much like 'hardcore' experiences because they fit perfectly on mobile and have a lot of great features.
Infinity Blade series, Republique are two exclusive iOS games that are simply brilliant.
Let me put it this way, if you know which games to get, you can find a 'hardcore' experienc...
Thats not entirely true.
The issue isn't the absence of real controls. The issue is developers failing to take advantage of what is there. Touch screen, accelerometer. You can really do a lot of things with those. Games with virtual sticks and pads will always fail. That's not the way to make a good mobile game.
I'm a PC gamer, and I enjoy really good graphics and simulation, eg games like Crysis and Metro 2033, which simulate so many great gameplay mechanics and ...
This game is going to make it so hard to defend against stupd 'violence in videogames' arguments. The reason is that it completely renders a lot of the arguments we that we use null and void.
I don't care if it's just a game. I don't care if it's not meant to be taken seriously. It seems like they're hitting all the wrong notes. It looks like a horror themed experience, but that very same thing is built around being pure fun ?
Say all you want abo...
