I find this hilarious. Their game is so heavy on micro-transactions that they have to actually go out of their to way give players a heads up that this is going to be free so they don't get scammed.

Why do people still support them at all. I gave up on the studio when they charged nearly the price of a new game for their DLCs for Destiny 1, like 6 months after the initial game launch.

The article mentioned box copy sales are low. Japan is having issues managing the virus, so obviously, physical sales are not going to be great. The best way to avoid any physical contact is to go digital as much as possible. I'm sure digital sales are great, but physical... this is what I would expect.

IF the game isn't selling well, both physical & digital, I would suspect it's due to the cost and the genre of this game.

That's cool man. I'm a fan of Falcom; looking forward to their announcement.

You could say they "Won" but really, there were no winners here. It's cool to see what's coming out, but almost everything is a 2022 release. Next year is going to be insane, but as I expected, this years E3 was not going to be all that great. We're finishing up a generation and moving on to the next.

The 2022 E3 should be much better imo.

At this point, no, it wouldn't make a great soulslike game. It's incredibly generic. It has a LONG way to go.

I'm a pretty big FF fan, but dude... like why does this even exist? It looks terrible, wasn't fun ( for me; super repetitive ), and it's so dark. The areas are repetitive and I truly hate these generic looking characters.

This one needs a LOT of work before I would even consider playing it.

To be honest, the trailer was cool, but it wasn't a gameplay. Until I see that, I'm not really feeling this one.

Dude.. this game was so lackluster for me (PC), I'm kind of tempted to give it a few years before I even come back. I'm talking, after the next gen upgrade launch and all the inevitable fixes they'll need to apply for that. Some of the fundamentals of this game aren't even working as intended. It has a LONG way to go before it's truly an enjoyable game on my end.

Yo John, the memory temps aren't really an issue as long as you keep it away from a confined space. The console itself does a great job keeping the system cool. NVME .m2 memory typically gets hot and can withstand quite high temps. If you look at a motherboard that supports them, they typically have some sort of cooling solution so they don't exceed their heat temp threshold.

I have a PS5 and aside from faster load times, VERY few PS5 only games, and minor improvement to a handful of games, it's kind of pointless to get one. Most of the big titles have been pushed to next year and even then, most of them are confirmed to come to the PS4.

I love the PS5 but so far, it's kind of been a disappointment. I find myself playing more PS4 games on my PS5 than actual PS5 games.... I'm sure they'll push out more games at some point, but r...

I'm tired of games being announced wayyyy too early in the development cycle. I mean, one way to avoid this, is to announce the game, you know 3-6 months before it's set to launch. I mean, this game was announced even before the PS5 launched.

I know they're trying to help sell consoles but dude... don't give us false hope. There have been so many delays for games (probably because of the cyberpunk fiasco) and it's partially due to the super early game an...

Who cares? Stop trying to make stories out of nothing man. Its a video game, not a real world election.

Same here man. Remasters are cool and all, but dude, I want something new that pushes the hardware. I'm tired of getting remastered. Make something new!!

Oh cool, another remaster we don't need.

Most people who bought the PS4, XBO version are getting a free upgrade. I understand they're hoping for better sales but dude...they really really botched this one. I highly doubt they're going to recoup the costs both short term and long term for their development time/efforts.

And to be honest, I'm still waiting for their PC version a game that I actually enjoy and want to come back to. The ideas are great, the world is there, the characters are awesome, but e...

If scope is greater than the time available to develop said scope, the project will never be successful.

If you're wondering why all these games are getting pushed back, this is probably the main reason why. Thank you Cyberpunk 2077 for being the reason leadership in all these companies realize that if a game is overpromised, under delivered / completely broken / missing features on launch, people get angry and want their money back.

It's not the end of the world here, but what happens next will define what CDPR is really made of. Will they succeed and give us the game they promised; the game they wanted to make. Or will they put out a few patches and call it a day?

I feel that if they don't fix this mess and provide some really big improvements/new content, they're never going to become the heroes of the industry that they once were. Remember, a Buggy game can always be fixed, but being lie...

Maybe they should focus on stock of current GPUs before they go adding another GPU to the list of unattainable GPUs.

I would have loved to see #3 in the Quintology as well. However, I really have enjoyed this game. I'm still playing through it and yes, it can be frustrating, challenging, slow paced, but I still feel like it captures the essence of the original games. Is it as good as the original? No way. But at the same time, you're still playing as Abe, who lets be honest, isn't the smartest or bravest, but still pushes through all the trials and tribulations to escape/save their friends/co-wo...

It's cool that the developer(s) tried to make something with a 'classic' feel, but man, this looks like it needs a lot more time in the oven. Even if they were going for a 'clunky' aesthetic, it's pretty hard to watch the trailer and not cringe a little bit. It could be a decent game, but imo, it needs more dev time before charging people $10.
