This is actually what I expected. I was very surprised when I heard that they were practically leaving PS4 users in the dust when the new console launched. Typically, we see the previous console supported for nearly the entire lifecycle of the new console. So yeah, this sounds about right.
That was good Nineball, thank you!
Thanks for the info! I am a fan of the series and am definitely going to play it, but you know, give the developers some time to clean up the bugs. I have seen a little bit of gameplay and the skill trees look like they could really enhance the combat, which was lacking a bit in Odyssey (in my opinion).
Karik from ACG is awesome. I haven't heard of Downward Thrust, so I'll check that out too. Thank you!
The size of this update kind of hints that the changes were not major. Probably a bunch of bug fixes and optimizations. Hopefully the game is smooth sailing when it launches.
Assassins Creed Valhalla on the other hand..oh boy. They could release a 30 gb update and it still wouldn't be enough to fix that buggy mess.
I really like the launch games for the PS5, but best ever? I'm not so sure. It's missing a good amount of genres and a lot of the games are also releasing on other platforms. Also, the writer included Spiderman twice...
Personally, I think the Nintendo Gamecube had the best set of launch games (U.S.).
My point exactly. Only, you know...easy for people who don't know how to build a PC. Think of it like building with legos.
If they wanted to build a console ahead of it's time, they could build the console in a way that customers can easily buy modular upgrades such as GPU/CPU components and easily install them via attach/detach from core system body.
I love the Viking era, but man, it's just so hard for my brain to stop thinking how little sense the idea for this game makes. Viking assassins. Doesn't that kind of go against the beliefs of a Viking?
It looks like the last two Assassins Creed games, so that's cool I guess? I just really miss the mystery behind the animus. That mystery has been missing for a very long time and I'd love to see that come back.
Minecraft is all you'll ever need :)
Look at it this way. If you can't get one launch, ITS OKAY. There will always be more. Hopefully by then, there are more games to play by then.
Don't forget that the first few batches may have issues. Its always a good idea to wait and hear how the systems run before buying one yourself.
Play has no limits, aside from console availability....
Maybe they'll add some more information to explain how, in history, the Vikings were actually assassins in disguise.
Hate to break it to you, but nobody is playing games on Stadia. Nice to see you enjoyed the game though.
..Why do they even need ads in a $60+ game?
THIS IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE. I mean, you can literally buy all the games that are on this machine on steam..right now, for $10.
https://store.steampowered....
If you're a HUGE Atari fan or a hardcore system collector, then sure, go for it, otherwise this is a huge skip.
I remember Playstation Home trying to do something like this on the PS3 (which I really miss) where trophies for certain games could unlock digital goods in Playstation Home. It was a really cool idea but sad it didn't pan out to the extent they were hoping.
It's a pretty awesome game man, but yes, I've run into some pretty nasty bugs along the way. I'm not sure when the game is going to release, but I would suggest to all, give it another month or two before you make a purchase. The devs need some time to iron out some of the serious bugs.
That's usually how it works. There are typically pretty big structural changes from alpha/beta stages to version 1.0 which result in early access saves to become obsolete. So, no surprise here.
To be fair here, people had no idea what Demon's Souls was when it came out in other countries outside Japan. I only knew about it because I randomly saw some PS3 gameplay when it was out in Japan.
It's a huge series now, and this is the game that started it all. While Godfall is relatively unknown, Demon's Souls is a really big name and a really really good game.
It's far worse than a 6. While the game is beautiful and the animations are great, I'm just not enjoying it. There's no where to go, the environments are heavily re-used and mostly empty. The bosses don't even get a health reset when you die, meaning it's very unbalanced. The enemies are super basic and can get super cheap when they bunch up on you.
This one needed another year at least.
