It was only a matter of time. Just playing for 20 hours or so thus far, I could already see the potential for huge time saves and ways to get around main boss fights. I expect to see this time cut in half within a few months.

I'm glad the OP is having a good time with it. I enjoyed it when it came out, and yep, pretty fun with friends.
I'll have what he's having, because dude...it's working.
Not sure if the article writer is aware, but there is a way to bypass the first boss, however the player may be unaware that they bypassed it if this was their first playthrough.
I didn't see an expiration when I checked out the invitation. It gives you like 2 week or so to buy the car, so it's not like you only have like 6 hours. So even that isn't a big deal.
Yep, I totally agree. The game gives you so many cars right off the bat. Like, more cars than ever before. I've gotten an 'invitation' to buy a rare car at the dealership, so I'm curious if they're creating 'events' like this so it incentives people to give in and buy in game currency to buy the rare car if they don't have the in game funds.
I don't like it, but to be honest, it's not hard to make money in GT. This isn't anything new, and honestly, this isn't a huge deal. All you have to do is, you know, play the game and you get money to buy cars? Why would you spend real money, so you don't have to play the game?
Dude, that demo was horrible. Graphics were SO outdated, the gameplay was very meh, and I really really didn't like the main character.
It could be a lot of fun, but honestly, the game a lot going against it already imo. I'm not even on the fence at this point.
"Elden ring is hard, this game will be easier because I can set it to easy. Lets make an article about it since this is a hot topic and we can get easy clicks on an article that's easy to write."
I used a Logitech Driving Force GT for like 5 years before I bought a Thrustmaster TS-PC racer wheel. It's still one of my favorite wheels ever, and it only cost like $130 at the time. As long as it has actual force feedback and not the super cheap pully system, it should do the job just fine ;)
Ah yes, here come the reviews from people who want to complain about each and every thing, but think the game is perfect. Bam 60%. Like... if the game is good, rate it as such. You can nitpick all you want, but it shouldn't have such a huge impact on your score...
Just to add a few more tips for newcomers:
1. Learn the controls and practice against easy enemies. This game tells you practically nothing in the beginning of the game, unlike past Souls games, so I'd suggest looking up any dark souls controls tutorial. You can Parry attacks, backstab (get behind the enemy), sneak attack (crouch and attack from behind using R1 or RB), headshot with a bow..etc. Those are the basics, but yeah, there's a ton you can do, depending on your charac...
If you're playing on a console, you'll need to log out of either xbox live or PS Network to play offline. If you're playing on steam, you'll need to open steam in offline mode. There's no way to disable them from the options settings atm.
However, I highly suggest you don't play offline. There are benefits to laying down your own messages, which I don't want to spoil. Also, once you get out of the starting area, they definitely become quite helpf...
In other words, "We ruined Assassins Creed by making it as grindy as possible. People love to grind. We can tell be cause they kept playing. We did great! Lets continue to do this".
I hate what they've done to Assassins Creed. It's not fun man. It's insanely repetitious, a slog, and a waste of time. I somehow beat the story for Valhalla without evening knowing I beat the game. No credits, no suggestion that 'this was it. You beat it, congratulation...
I certainly think it's come a long way and I'm enjoying playing through it, now that it's not completely broken. However, I still think it has a LONG way to go, to give the players everything they promised.
They're on the right track and I can see the hard work they're putting in. BUT, they lied to everyone including their share holders and to overcome that is going to be a massive challenge.
There are so many amazing games coming out this year, I mean, take your pick. If you're not excited Elden Ring, then pick up something else. So far, pretty much every big release has been fantastic and there are some real bangers on the way.
There's nothing wrong with being tired of a series. For me it's probably Assassins Creed or Borderlands. Personally, I think Elden Ring is shaping up to be the best game From Software has released to date, but you know, to e...
So, to anyone who's played it, what are your initial thoughts? It looks pretty cool, but I didn't play the first one.
Major news announcement! People like free games. Read all about it!
Odd comparison. One requires you to scarf down as much food as possible, given that your stomach can handle that much expansion. While the other requires an immense amount of knowledge, skill, and determination to reach a specific time/goal.
I mean, if you don't like watching someone speed running games, then I mean... good for you? But for the rest of us, it's pretty fricken' sweet dude.
