Once Polyphony fixes the car engine sounds, there will literally be nothing left to complain about lol.
I think that if it benefits the gameplay, then it's certainly needed. 60 fps is why I love pc gaming so much. Check out games like Borderlands and Dark Souls. Those games running at 60 fps are so much smoother and I find them much more enjoyable on the pc. Dark Souls had a ton of lag in some areas and Borderlands 2 was framelocked on consoles at 30 fps. Racing games should also be held to the 60 fps standard. After playing racing sims for quite a long time, I think it's about time we ...
Who ever made this torrent really went out of their way to make it as legit as possible. I wonder what it does to their pc. XD
The latest GTA? GTA only comes out once ever 4-5 years. COD, I could understand because it comes out every single year, but Grand Theft Auto? I think you have the wrong idea.
Maybe you were thinking of Assassins Creed instead?
Honestly, I feel this was Ubi's fault for pretending like everything was fine the whole time. If they knew the game wasn't going to be finished by November, then why act like everything is just fine? Instead, they've created huge problems for all those people who pre-ordered the PS4/XB1. Normally, pushing back isn't a big deal, but in this case it is. Ubisoft messed up pretty big, and I'm not going to just sit back and say, " Ahh that's fine, I want a game that...
I think that while more memory is a great thing for developers, at the same time I think it's a burden for gamers. A curse if you will. Let me explain.
With the Playstation 3 only have 256 mb of ram to work with at any given time, the developers had optimize the hell out of all of their code and get it running as efficiently as possible. This may have been extremely difficult to do, but it helped shape the best games we've ever seen.
Now with more mem...
This looks pretty good, but the small things are what is bothering me. The shot with the driver inside was kind of strange. Not sure why. The leaves on the track didn't move at all when the cars drove over them. The massive pile up at 1:31. This game has a few things to work outs still, but overall, I'm really excited for it.
It really depends on the collectors edition and the price point. If the consumer thinks the price is worth the product, then how is that rip-off?
I think what really needs to stop is developers making people pay for content already on the game disc. If it's already there, then why make them pay again for content they already payed for. That's what I call a rip-off.
The game looks good, but still needs a lot of work done to the physics. It's on the right track though.
No I didn't watch the video. Normally, I don't even waste with anything related to this guy, but I guess I'll have to watch this video lol. Also, who would follow this guy? lol He's a joke to the gaming industry. Every single one of his predictions turns out to be completely wrong every time.
Yes it matters. 60 FPS is a must. If a game on the PS4 doesn't have 60 fps, I'm not going to buy it. Simple as that. At this point, developers should have no problem getting their games to 60 fps unless their game is multiplatform on the ps3/360.
Patcher is by far one of the biggest morons I've ever known. If he actually read anything about Blu-Ray, he would know it's owned by 13 companies and isn't run by Sony.
My character along with all my friends characters were complete deleted yesterday. We were all level 13. Pretty frustrating man. I thought it was fun, but not at the expense of having to redo it all.
I can see why this author might this this is a possible, but we're not really in the same situation we were almost 25 years ago. Back then, there we SO many consoles and different companies trying to cash in on the video game market.
Consumers couldn't tell which games were good and which were bad and there were so many consoles at the time, people just didn't have the space for them in their living rooms.
But now, we only have 3 consoles to choo...
I'm sure Rockstar's reaction to the amount of people who bought the game went something like this: "Tom: Wow, over 15 million users in one week? Hey Bob, our servers can handle that no problem right? Bob: Uhhh...ssssuuuurrrreeee. I think we're gonna need a bigger server( jaws reference). "
If Blizzard couldn't handle it, I'm not so sure Rockstar can, but the fact that people are actually getting in at all is a good sign lol.
I would say I'm overall terrible at fighting games. I've always wanted to learn those sweet combo moves, but every time I'd fight someone online in SF, I would just get destroyed and then I feel like there's no point in even playing anymore. I'm good at fps games, but I just don't like them.
I love RPG's and racing games lol. iRacing is where it's at. Lol that and NR 2003!
Yep, only 16 players which baffles me, considering MAG was able to get 256 players in a game. Once the game does get released on PC, which we all know it will, it will probably support much much more players. Cant wait!
I'm really sorry to burst your bubble guys, but my guess is that the servers are going to struggle staying up tomorrow. I'm praying that it all goes smooth, but if you remember how Diablo III's servers were when that first went live, it wasn't pretty.
Lets just hope that Rockstar is more prepared than Blizzard was.
Oh yay! On the ps3, there's only one disc anyway...yay. Ugh, I feel so bad for 360 owners. They always have to deal with this stuff..what a pain. Glad I stuck with Sony.
I'm going to buy a PS4 no doubt about it. I just have an incredibly hard time supporting Microsoft. They've lied, changed their game plan so many times, bad PR, mandatory Kinect... the list goes on.
I'm not falling for it. They could at any time change their policies back to DRM online - only. Tell me, is that what gaming is about? Being forced to have a console online at all times? Or is it about playing to your hearts content without the need for internet, or a ...
