That's good. I don't think Series S is that bad for users either. It's just the article above tells us how developers complained about it.

MS loves to confuse themselves. Years ago Kinect, now Series S.
More importantly, "cinematic" isn't a genre, it's a goal. If players feel like they have impression like watching a movie while playing video game, then the goal is achieved.
One won't understand Xenogears's lore by only playing it. Reading other references such as Xenogears Perfect Works is necessary.

I never played Bethesda's IPs nor interested to them, but Mikami's reputation makes me want to try Ghostwire even it's an FPS.
The list of their internally developed games is somewhat weak for a representative of Sony's game development in Japan. For years, their achievement is nowhere near as theirs in PS1/PS2 era.
I don't play Zelda but i prefer Twilight Princess's art than the other Zeldas.

Xbox360 had many Japanese niche games (many are available in Japan only), but still that didn't sell many units.
Actually i think It's difficult to distinguish DLC and main story when the main story itself is an episodic one. It's possible for the developers to fit 3-5 DLCs into 1 separated game and rename it to episode 2 or 3 without you knowing about it.
I can think of few reasons :
1. They just want to make a PS5 game with PS4 quality because when the raw power is there, even with less optimization, less time, less budget, the result is still decent.
2. Sony made a business deal with SE years ago to make this "DLC" to lure out people to buy PS5, and it turns out to be quite useless, because the PS5 sold out everywhere with or without this DLC.
Focusing Japan with Japan Studio as it was isn't a good decision either. Their works mostly collaborations with other developers and very few are blockbusters. I don't think Sony neglect Japan, they just want to make a better bet, more people at promising ASOBI team is the proof.

I'm not confused at all. Flight Simulator is one thing. But isn't one of the objectives of the cloud gaming is to offload the processing whether graphic, physics, particles, etc from local hardware to the cloud?.

If the reason is game preservation, all the PS1 titles are already preserved through emulators, so i take this issue easily.
