When ROTR comes to PS4, the score would be 8 to 8.5 on PS4, lower than Xbox One (maybe 9 right now). Not that the PS4 version is worse, But...ND will set the bar very high with Uncharted 4...
@OrionPaxBB
Maybe you didn't say anything wrong, but recently some people think that that kind of comments like yours considered as an "offence"...
Great fanboy wars left traumas...
Agree! Yakuza 2 was a badass game! The story is thrilling that makes me want to play and play again without playing mini games at all (yes, at all).
Oh, and Goda Ryuji is the best villain in Yakuza's franchise ever!.
a remaster and only 30fps = lazy port
If Metroid, Pokemon, Mario are on NX...it does mean replace Wii U & 3DS...
I pity you, 1 agree for you...
Maybe you should pay US$ 10 to get bundle Ryo Hazuki + Flagman from Outrun + Super Monkey Ball characters. Them, to join your troops...
Does it have to have multiplayer?
One thing that scares me is the developer are (or to feel) forced to make a multiplayer mode and sacrifice campaign in every game they developed.
Mobile game?
Microtransaction. US$5 to recruit Ryo Hazuki ?
Hey, make it with HD Texture & reorchestrated music that ZREO has.
Seems like a good idea, but...considering Xbox One still behind PS4 right now, your concentration should be to look ahead, not turning back, Phil...
The last gen's factors that makes japanese fell behind :
1. Many AAA directors/producers have left big companies and not all of them gained success with their new companies. But maybe basically this is just a matter of bad regeneration inside the big companies.
2. Western developers relatively easy when selling their games on PC -and it means more income-, western's gaming taste are similar whether they play on PC or console, but not the japanese companies (..or at lea...
Actually, i really don't mind if the game's visual is only Dreamcast/XBox quality with plastic-look character and environments . I don't expect Ryo's design is on par with Nathan Drake. I don't need it.
Most japanese games use "art" more than "technology" when it comes to visual.
It's not that bad. At least we can control the character with 8 directional pad, not 4 like the original, and that's more than enough for me.
I am getting old. Teenage story and flashy costumes (Star Ocean 5... my eyes hurt) don't suit me anymore, let alone "moe(Tales of...)
Some games/franchises need maturization(?). Others don't need it (Dragon Quest for example)
Ninja Gaiden isn't difficult at all. True, the enemies are agressive, but we have total control of Ryu. I'd say it was the most balanced action game.
@Game4Next
When BandaiNamco asked about why no Ridge Racer at PS4 launch?
They answered that they and other japanese companies, (they sat down and talked with Square, Konami, Capcom, etc.) they would not support console business as they did before, but after seeing PS4 sales, they promised to allocate more resources to consoles....
So, don't worry, The Japanese Company are a bit late, but more games to come for PS4
Why no Yakuza??? Yakuza 2 is the best game on PS2!
I disagree with you, but, i hope you're right.
I wish the Japanese make more games like this. Waverace, Pilotwings, have charm with the characters and atmosphere. The western developers treat this kind of genre as a "game" and "sport".
