So, basically Sony and MS make PS4 Neo and "XBO Neo". But Sony doesn't make "PS4 Scorpio".
PS4 Neo is in league with XBO Slim. While Xbox Scorpio is a New Console with XBO backward compatibility (???).
Why parents? I can't play it in front of my kids...

2. an Open world

It isn't even a huge plan for Xbox. It's a huge plan for Windows ecosystem. Xbox is nothing but a brand in Nadella's mind i'm afraid
In the future, the fanboys's war will be more complex. PS4 is stronger, which PS4? Xbox is more powerful, which Xbox?...
I don't know how to accept this...console is more like a PC these days, NO! it's more like a SMARTPHONE!!!

I think the main reason is...releasing half-completed games, then followed by DLCs so that the buyer will keep it as long as possible before reselling it.

I'm happy and sad at the same time. I'm happy because i haven't bought PS4 (my habit is buying a new console as early as 2 years after launch) so i can buy Neo without any regret. But i am sad that upgraded console strategy will backfire, so much after console proved they still have place in the world after smartphone domination. To think that console won't have "trust" anymore is a nightmare to me.

SONY has experience upgrading console. Remember PSP 2000 has RAM twice as much as PSP 1000?. It's RAM folks!!. Was there any difference? maybe yes, but who notice?.
SONY scared us when PS4.5 rumour spreading the internet, but i don't think they are that stupid either. Even i'm thinking why SONY and MS have plan upgrading their consoles? at the same time? Because they're driven by AMD's manufacturing plan just like DF posted.

That's exactly what i meant. We're adult now. Our favorite now are games like Uncharted, GOW, COD, The Witcher, etc.
If Spyro or Crash with the same concept as 20 years ago coming back. They're aimed not for you (us) anymore, they're for your (our) kids.
