Normally yes, but Phil has to make sure the Xbox division making profit as targetted so he can convince other the higher ups in MS and shareholders...not only once i heard MS considered to close Xbox Division.

Never played any US or other western games since NES era till PS2 era, PS3/X360 era i started playing western games, they're amazing, but my collection of games still dominated by Japan made.

I'd say almost every current 3rd person shooters inspired from RE4 including Uncharted and Gears of War (but Gears introduced cover system).
Uncharted maybe inspired from old TR, but ripped-off? i don't think so, both mechanics are so different. Old TR emphasized on exploration (when sometimes the enemies are the stage itself), Uncharted are more linear and action oriented.

I hope he continue making game. I still respect him for creating DOA series and Ninja Gaiden (No other action game beat NG for Xbox classic i thought).
And i would be disappointed if he ever says...

We never (or rarely) see fan project from the Japanese i wonder why...

That guy (Inafune) has too many projects at the same time. Hasn't released Mighty No, 9, kickstart Red Ash, and suddenly ReCore appeared.
Maybe other ex-Capcom were right, he is more like a business man than a videogame developer.

Vanquish sure was really amazing, it combined action and shooter very well. It's so western yet so Japanese at the same time. Only veteran like Shinji Mikami (other than Kojima) can make a game so balanced both in gameplay and culture taste.
I hope you PC gamer (espescially who have habit underestimating console) can play this game, then you'll be able to imagine other console games you're missing for all these years...

I bet it won't take too long because the announcement was made not too long after the release in Japan (6 months)...
Maybe the localization process already began before they announced
Remember 5 took more than 2 years before finally announced...
Won't buy this. The PS3 version was already excellent, hope 2 & 3 will get HD remaster treatment.
