The only similar thing between TLOU and Days Gone is the appocalyptic world setting. The gameplay is totally different from what i see in the trailer.
IMO. Being open world action superhero games, Spider and Infamous fundamentally have many things similar. Only the execution of Spider is overall better, more variant, more advanced (it's a newer game for sure) with bigger budget, (maybe) more talented developers.
But whether those two can coexist or not it's up to Son...
It depends on the quality. Sony will reject Infamous if it's not Spider quality because the bar has been raised.
So...if it's Infamous after Tsushima, you can be sure the next Infamous will be better than Spider or expect something else entirely, maybe sequel of Tsushima.
Sony knows that you can play all PS1 games on emulator and PS Classic only contain 20 games. Surely this meant only for nostalgia.
PS Classic (or even SNES Mini) isn't a real console or device, it's positioned as a merchandise. Comparing it with XB BC (whicih is very good) is quite a mislead.
I doubt it. Playground is a good developer but why take a risk?. I know MS need to take more risks. But Playground make a Berserk game? Gimme a break...
That's why i said it's difficult. It takes time and experience to judge people and say "okay, go for it, do it".
You can't mimic it right away, you need experience and time in this business. And Cerny is a veteran in this field.
Can you trust anyone whom you just met to run your business?.
If it's easy, every game will be good because they are a result of right decisions, but we know that's not the realit...
That's a culture at Sony as a game publisher.
- Okay
- Do it
- Go for it
A trust. Simple yet difficult to mimic.
Copy the strategy and they will always be behind Sony. The product will be bad if they make it with "i'll do that too" mentality. Bad advice.
Your brain is 3/10
Sony isn't listening to me.
When i saw Ghost of Tsushima, Sony actually read my mind all this time!!!.
Isshin & Kenzan
Dino Crisis & Onimusha reboot not remaster.
Emulation takes a long time to be perfect. The emulator will be perfect when Switch becomes retro.
The only thing i regret is that i missed the chance to play 1 because i don't have a Dreamcast. I played 2 on Xbox classic.
Now i can play 1, but i know the feeling will never be the same like playing it on Dreamcast 19 years ago.
If it's possible then why not? It will reach wider audience that leads to better sales. So it's a win-win.
C2077 is different than COD or Bioshock. Many people expected it won't stray too far from The Witcher's gameplay.
But in the end i respect the developer's decision. Even i respect Capcom's decision in RE7, although that means i don't play the latest of the franchise i've loved for 20+years.
I stil hope for 3rd person option so i...
20 hours for an action game is quite long. I remember playing Ninja Gaiden on original Xbox for 16 hours and TLOU for 18 hours. Never i complained about the length.
Very happy this game gets 9 everywhere. The best and the manliest Yakuza.
You missed the best one. Make sure to play 1 this time.
And thanks to the hardcore fans who initiated and participated the petition to Sega to bring this Yakuza 5 to the west. Many gamers became aware and interested in this franchise after that.
Of course, also thanks to folks at Sony to convince Sega, finally after 5, i never have uneasiness feeling and questions whether the latest entry will be localized or not.
They prefer guns than swords. Typical Xbox gamers. Ahahaha....
I remember back in 1997 there is a picture of Leon holding a shotgun running between 2 cells/prisons on his left and right contained zombies at the back of Playstation box (scph-1001) along with other games such Crash Bandicoot etc. Judging the picture quality, i am sure that it was taken from a pre-rendered/FMV scene.
By the time i beat RE2 in 1998 i didn't find the scene. I read this article and i see Leon standing between zombie cells, but that's not what i saw. ...
