You are somewhat right about this game should have audiences as many as possible. I won't downvote you.
But Sega had experimented by porting to Wii U in Japan and it didn't sell. So i think they come in to a conclusion that this (niche) series only sells on PlayStation where the market is huge and diversivied. Porting to Xbox might not worth by economical measure.
Uh...full games as service...this is bad...
@fragnum
#Microsoft is predominantly a software company, Whereas Sony is predominantly a hardware company.#
I know, everybody here knows that
#I don't see this is a negative for Sony.#
And i don' t see anybody talks negative of Sony
#Meanwhile a lack of BC doesn't seem to have affected Sony in any meaningful way, with 75 million + sales of the Playstation 4 they seem to be doing ok ;)#
...
Shuhei Yoshida stated clearly. Complex or not, BC on PS4 will take resources and Sony prefered to allocate them to other project. Looking at those exclusives, i can't complain.
And how he praised that MS has done almost impossible job to make BC on XBO. So i assume that BC on PS4 is quite complex.
Once i commented the same thing like you do right now but i got quite many disagrees. Glad that not all people are graphic whores here.
Playstation + PC + Nintendo for me.
True. But it's visual's art is not suitable for the game itself.
I think the gamers who will play that game is the real "survivor"
@Supersonic
Smart move doesn't always mean honorable move. And that's not always a bad thing.
Never have gamecube or wii or wii u, so i would like to see mario sunshine, galaxy, donkey kong, xenoblade to be remastered.
Nintendo can remaster all their games since gamecube to wii u, easy money and people gonna love it.
Cheaper to port maybe?
The most thing important in this interview was that he answered "i really don't know".
I want DQVIII on Switch, but PC port isn't a bad idea. 3DS version is not good enough.
That's not 100% right. People feel that the power in Switch doesn't matter because they already have that option in PS4/XB1.
Papabob is right.
Just accept reality as it is.
There are other companies who do cruel things. EA lives in a videogame industry where the customers are aware and vocal about unfairness.
At worse, i don't think company like EA have any reason killing people, animals, or supporting wars.
A bad luck i think.
Ahead of it's time by trying to become entertainment hub? Maybe.
But was the customers demand it?
"..... that it's not all about power"
What a retard.
That comment exists just because Sony & MS are pursuing power, so Nintendo is labeled "having a unique way".
Imagine if next gen Sony & MS are doing the same thing (not all about power), that would be the worst generation ever.
Deep in my heart, yes, i agree. Games as service really frighten me.
Will US Fair Trade Commission (USFTC), handle this issue?.
I worked for FTC (not US though) for almost 10, and i am absolutely sure that this is an antitrust issue (well...until USFTC says otherwise).
