Whoa...that's too fast. Sony never make announcement that every exclusives will come to PC unlike Microsoft. Even now, the announcement was done by QD. What's going on behind the scene is yet to be confirmed.

We still need DOA as one of -now rare- fighting genre, but they need to reboot the story.

@mkis007
Excellent observation.

@mystogan
Assuming Sony as a publisher is not a typo, maybe Sony is testing the water since the fee on Epic store is quite low. The sales of those titles has already passed the climax and only a very little growth now.

And why QD games? Maybe genre-wise, QD games are unique, it's rare to see this genre with AAA calibre. If this becomes a habit, we might see titles like Little Big Planet, Dreams, etc c...

I think your analogy isn't quite right. Either cd or cartridge is physical media, comparing to digital isn't quite fit.
And also we still see cartridge nowadays.

Yep. I loved it too. dmc has more "mature" atmosphere than DMC, like American TV series. It's more suited to the setting and characters in Devil May Cry universe. The DMC 1-4 was more like a US comic book written by Japanese mangaka.
I haven't played it yet, but it seems DMCV has that "mature" American TV series atmosphere.

Outsourced development to external team was an insult to internal team, more so if they think they can do that.
I never liked DmC, i tried to like it, but i couldn't. It just didn't appeal to me.
But strangely i liked dmc. I finished it.
Now i am interested in DmC5. It feels so realish/americanish like dmc compared to DMC 1-4 Which felt more fantasy-ish/manga-ish.

I worked for antitrust agency for years.
At one point, exclusive dealing can be considered anti-competitive behavior.

But if i may speak as a gamer, i think the world needs a worthy competitor for Steam. It may cause us a little hassle for now (if any), but, In long term, if Epic (or any other company) become a significant competitor for Steam, it's us and developers who will take the most benefit.

There's no switching cost from steam to ...

Lol.
Some people hate being 3-click-away from the shortcut so they just put everything on the desktop screen.

And i'm being sarcastic with the people who can't distinguish "exclusivity" with "installing another application".

Ahahaha. But yeah i know i exaggerated too much.

Im not a PC gamer and i don't know the logic of PC gamers who can't accept another store.
Every new company needs uniqueness, and it's just timed exclusive anyway. Believe me, competition is good in the long (or even short) run rather than a company dominating the market too much. It will benefit customer and developers alike more important than the BS you speak :
1. This world has too many launchers.

Every new company needs a uniqueness when they enter the market for the first time. Be it their effort is 1st or 3rd party exclusives.

Epic's exclusive is just a timed exclusive afaik, let them survive so they can do business apple to apple with Steam.

Maybe you're angry when they "steal" something from the store you love so much, but believe me, competition is good, the benefit is on the long run for customers and developers. It is tim...

2. Videogames developers
3. Microsoft of Japan employees

I just hope this will not become disincentive for any single player games. Something that might last only 6 to 8 hours to play but eternally imprinted in the brain forever.

Higher rated?, probably. Exclusives? At least 2 of the major titles (Mario Kart & Zelda) also available on WiiU, to put it simply, not only they're not exclusives they're also ports.

Still, good games i objectively give an opinion (don't play Zeldas but i like Mario Kart).

To answer this question would be difficult because that's not the point. I'm not saying Switch lacks of other great titles other than the great titles already released on Switch (?).

Or should i mention the great titles that's not (or not yet or impossible) on Switch?.
