Yeah, i think that too, i mean, rather than higher resolution, the next thing is the technology that is expensive today like OLED or Micro LED you mentioned become more mainstream. Just like LED LCD replace conventional LCD.
I think after 4k, mainstream consumers Televisions (under 50") will go to other direction, not necessarily 8k.
What i know is for X to regular, yes. But Since the article is discussing about Scarlett (next-gen) to Regular XBO, we won't know for sure about it's a port or not.
Will it be a Scarlett version and regular (and X) version?
Or just one version for all? When you put the disc on regular XBO you'll get "second class" quality, and when you put it on Scarlett you'll get "first class" quality? I remember MS ever mentioned a...
Of course, comparatively it's second class. Won't be surprised if a 3rd party developer working on the regular XBO port.
Nobody saw this coming
In the Xbox world, when Halo appears, his two friends will follow, Gears & Forza...
"...felt and looked very cheap"
Well it was cheap...everything has it's price. Compared to previous version, it was cheaper, slimmer, cooler, quieter, and has more storage in it. So it was decent alright.
IMO Sony themselves will make hardware revision that is slimmer, smaller, easier and chepaer to produce to cut cost by the time it's possible, with or without a price drop to consumers and with or without that "signal" the author talking about.
I've been waiting for a Switch revision all this time. Hoping a better version.
The problem is i hate somewhat heavy portable (Switch) but i don't want to lose that TV mode feature (Switchless, er, Switch Lite). I haven't bought one yet, so, this is like "pick your poison" to me.
I hate being connected, i hate chatting while gaming, and i hate streaming.
That's me!
Fortunately, only a few companies are affected by a person or two left (even the important ones).
- Sony Santa Monica, David Jaffe & Stig Asmussen left.
- Naughty Dog, Amy Hennig left.
- Sony, Phil Harrison left.
The companies still okay though.
It's a not a high budgeted title unlike the previous two. They even need to kickstarted it before starting the development.
Why does it feels like it's stuck in the past?. You see, art directing isn't that easy. Designing characters with latest technology while maintaining the "image" of the characters itself isn't easy task. Team Ninja "translated" anime-ish DOA series to modern DOA5, and Tetsuya Nomura had Roberto Ferrari redesigned his...
I agree. It's not like we are whining or anything. I (we) have tried to love FP games, really, but couldn't because of motion sickness.
I even gave up playing RE7, a franchise that i have loved since more than 20 years ago.
IMO, Remedy's games reek of Sony. It has Sony's exclusive atmosphere and they are already used to make moderate if not big budget title. They just need someone caliber like Barlog, Druckmann, Hennig, then throw decent budget and we'll see another title with or close to Uncharted/GoW/Horizon quality.
Kojipro will remain 3rd party with exclusives contract from Sony i think.
Bluepoint. Yes they are the master of remaster. But if they get acquired...
It's a PORTABLE console so what do you expect!?
As expected from Sony's exclusive games
...yet, too many choices also confuse everyone...
Ah, well, let them try, survival for the fittest begins...
I still don't know how the devs make money on Gamepass. Do they get paid by MS for a period of time and then out (or extended)?
If it's ethical issue you mentioned, then i have no comment. It's your and their principal and i really respect that.
But, if you say Epic is anti-customer/anti-competition issue, that's not entirely true. Steam is and has been, anti-customer/anti-competition too, more or less.
You can alway depend on PC for a fairness and openness, yes. But because of that fairness and openness there are many opportunities and options for everyone, not only c...
I don't mind!.
Just make money as much as you can and bring me more Single Player Exclusive Games!
