Why? That's what I'd give it. It's a good game.
Yeah, they've been caught channel stuffing to inflate sales numbers numerous times in the past.
You're 100% correct. The amount of willful ignorance towards Microsoft's intentions, especially on this site, really astounds me sometimes.
Because it's good for a talking point as an "innovation of the future" for people who have no idea what a motion cam is, or know its history in gaming. The mandatory purchase and use could also give them a little iron fist action against their users in the future, should they choose to do so. It's a tool for nonsense PR and user control. Not much else. Certainly nothing good pertaining to gaming. Although, people who hacked the original one seemed to make interesting use of ...
lol
How is that impressive or unexpected? They have a very large American fan base now. They barely had a following when the 360 launched.
The entire Xbox division is peanuts for Microsoft. However, it's actually a popular product for them. They keep putting out multi-billion dollar flops, subsidized by their nearly-endless Windows bankroll. The Xbox is one of the only Microsoft products to actually gain traction in its respective marketplace.
Popularity aside, no, Xbox is too small to "save" anything. Microsoft needs to grow it tenfold before that even becomes a serious question. Windows will keep...
You've got no room to talk, Skud. I know Planetside 2 is your bottom bitch. Get a room, both of you.
Uh huh...

It's been reported that they have roughly 1/3 the number of pre-orders available compared to the PS4 at Gamestop, further giving fuel to the truthfacts about bad yields in the hardware. Selling out isn't as significant as it sounds.
I haven't played Heavy Rain, but that looked like a point-and-click adventure game with QTE action scenes. I would like to play it someday.
Ryse just looks like pure on-rails QTE, except it's so casual that nothing bad happens to you if you miss them.
Coulda fooled me with the way they've been showing it off. Definitely looks more sim than arcade.
I don't understand why Driveclub exists. It's not like there was a void to fill with sim/sim-ish racing in the Sony camp. They have their behemoth in Gran Turismo. Evolution should have stuck with arcade racing. They're good at it. Maybe take a crack at the Wipeout franchise if they don't wanna keep doing Motorstorm, or a new arcade racing IP all together. Just seems really, really pointless to make an inferior-looking GT as long as GT games are still being made.
Because the game is so casual QTE that it will actually play itself if you stop pressing things, according to Kotaku.
You're comparing hardware to snake oil.
I appreciate them basically coming out and saying that there was no way they could fund the thing solo, so Microsoft is keeping the lights on in exchange for exclusivity. Why is that so hard for other companies to do? No, I don't believe you when you replace the simple financial truth of the situation with "it's only possible on XB1 due to the infinite power of the cloud".
Not having any trouble over here...

It rarely actually is a sexist thing. It's usually just the permanently offended and perpetual victims of the feminist camp that interpret everything as a shot against their gender. In this case, and in most cases, the blogger in question has taken a sample of jokes as a tirade from the putrid heart of a sexist mob of misogynists roaming N4G.com, or something similarly dramatic and frightening.
She's not a gamer. Sucks that she's running a game company. End of thi...
Well I'm so glad I was forced to make one of these stupid things to play Metal Gear Online. Hopefully I didn't have any real information on there, since I have no clue what my ID is/was.
Thankfully, I was also forced to make an Ubisoft account to play my Steam games, and they were hacked as well. I certainly LOVE having all of these unnecessary hassle accounts getting hacked.
Yeah, it is pretty nice on my PC. I like the music as well. Some bad camera angles, hackey writing and poor voice acting bring it down a bit, but overall it's a pretty solid game. The art style and design is flawless cyberpunk. Part of the disappointment is that you can't explore the beautiful world they created.
