Are you trying to out-troll "LOL Wut?"
That would be cool. Heck, they should even add non-Nintendo characters like Sonic and Mega Man.
If people don't voice their concerns about the issues mentioned in this article, then these problems will persist and get worse. If gaming is really your favorite past-time, then you should be more concerned about games being released unfinished with bugs, glitches, and huge frame-rate dips.
Because the connection speed in your mind where you made up that scenario is too low.
Indeed. It's sad watching this once great company die a slow death due to greed and incompetence.
Opinion pieces are not synonymous with journalism.
Why assume everyone who buys this has played any or all the games in this collection?
I have never seen such mixed reviews for any other game in history.
Not to mention 360 owners who may end up getting a PS4. He just assumes they'll all get X1's.
So potential buyers can read about the quality of the ports.
PS Now is not in beta. A beta is only open to a small group for reasons of testing and gaining feedback to help finalize something for release. PS Now is available to everyone, hence not in beta.
One disc will have Bayonetta, the other will have Bayonetta 2, just in case you misinterpreted the headline and thought Bayonetta 2 would be on two discs.
I can't believe how good this looks especially for a first-year PS4 game, practically photorealistic.
It'll actually be the 5th. There's SF2, SF2 turbo, Super SF2, and SF Alpha 2. I think Wii U has enough SF2 ports. This is just overkill. I don't see why they couldn't port Ultra SF4.
This is a actually a pretty unique situation. I can't remember the last time a game was announced to be multiplatform only to be changed to an exclusive (timed or not) months later. The exclusivity detail should have been made clear at E3.
There were a few tombs but they were all weirdly optional and criminally short. I still thought it was a solid action game, but yeah, the next game should have a larger emphasis on, you know, raiding tombs and whatnot.
No exclusivity was announced at E3, and it was reported by the gaming press as multiplatform. That should have been the time for MS and SE to clarify that it was a timed exclusive but they never did for whatever dumb reason. It's almost like they wanted people to be confused.
I personally don't understand why MS did it unless the price they paid was dirt cheap. I can only imagine they did it to boost X1 sales, but Tomb Raider these days is not a system seller, so having RotTR as a timed exclusive will not lead to any real boost in X1 sales. I'm interested in playing the next TR but I'll just wait to play it on my PS4. I sure as heck won't buy an X1 just to play it a bit earlier, and I can't imagine many others would do that either.
I think what has annoyed people the most about this situation is that Rise of the Tomb Raider was originally announced at E3 as a multiplatform game leading gamers to believe all versions would release at or around the same time. If SE had just announced this as an X1 timed exclusive from the start, I don't think people would have been as upset. I'm hoping this type of situation of announcing a game as multiplatform only to later say it's exclusive to a particular platform doesn...
Where did that saying come from?
