The other games in the series are more complex, if you can imagine that. I’m glad they stripped down the complexity a bit for World.
Interesting that the 2 best games so far this year involve battling giant monsters.
What’s a Nintendo Swift?
I don’t think the series is doomed, but the next one can’t be another letdown. It would need a much better roster, which is more likely to happen because of the Disney/Fox deal.

Switch’s launch year isn’t over yet. The one year mark is early March. We’ll compare sales then.
Mainly in Japan where it’s still quite popular and gets a lot of Japanese dev support. The Japanese primarily game on portables.
The original console versions of Dark Souls never ran at 30 fps. They were like 20 fps with frequent dips and frame pacing issues. So the Switch remaster is an improvement if it ends up running at a steady 30 fps.
Definitely get the remaster. It’s the best of all the Souls games. Best level design.
I download them for free with PS Plus on PSN.
Dreamcast itself wasn’t a disaster. It just couldn’t compete with the PS2. It was other mishaps (Sega CD, 32X, Saturn, etc.) that ruined Sega.
Dang. I would want to play this on PS4 or Switch.
Probably March.
I fully expect more games to be announced this year for 2018 releases and maybe even some 2019 releases as well. What’s been announced so far is solid and a good variety of genres.
Compared to the 360 and PS3 versions it’s a noticeable improvement. It’ll run at 1080p as opposed to 720p, and it’ll be 30 fps. The old console versions were like 20 fps with frequent dips and frame pacing issues. Plus I think load times will be shorter on Switch.
How so? The One has sold roughly the same number as the 360 in the same amount of time. It’s sales aren’t bad, it’s just that PS4 is selling more.

I think it has more to do with how Final Fantasy’s 7 through 12 were co-published by Sony, hence why they never appear on non-Sony consoles.
It's more than cute. It's what was actually confirmed by Bandai Namco. It'll be 1080p.
If it runs at a steady 30 fps then it's already superior to the console versions last gen.
I don’t know. The X, spec-wise, seems like a 9th gen upgrade over the original model. It’s a significant upgrade. The Pro on the other hand is a bit 8.5 ish to me.
It actually does have Hulu, but it does need the other popular apps, I agree.
