By folks you mean Mika.
Was already going to get it due to loving the first one, but Team Fortress 2 characters and Hornet from Daytona that turns into a Dreamcast sent me over the edge. My wallet doesn't seem too pleased.
As I've said before, yes, it is a next gen system. Generations aren't determined by hardware leaps, it's all about time. The Ouya, which is less powerful than the PS3 and 360, is an 8th gen system.
Okay, two things, one: generations are not about leaps in hardware, it's timed base. The Ouya, despite being less powerful than the PS3 and 360, is an 8th gen console because it came out after the 360/Wii/PS3, so let's just get that out of the way.
Two: Have you seen the PS4 and 720, do you know the Wii U's specs? No, well then you're just a fanboy spouting hair-brain predictions with no real facts to back you up, Michael Pachter would be proud.
Jesus, the Vita only sold 2% of what the 3DS made, and that's just in Japan. I know people will disagree with this post, call me a fanboy (even though I own a Vita, love it, and the PS2 is my favorite system of all time), but I have no idea how Sony can save the Vita at this point, in fact it may be beyond saving.
Well good thing I have external hard-drives just laying around.
0/10 You need to try harder
Demos? GAMECHANGER! What's next, videos?!? Step your game up Sony!
How else am I going to wave my e-penis around?
I'm living in a world where people think a seven out of ten is a failure? Just fucking kill me now.
Jesus people play the game for yourself, then decide. Video games like any art form are subjective, just because he didn't like the game, doesn't mean you won't. I don't care if you bash the game, but at least play it. For example, NieR was panned by critics but many people, including myself, enjoyed the game, hell I think it's a classic. I know 95% of people who bash Ninja Gaiden 3 just watched the IGN review and copy pasted it. I'm not saying Ninja Gaiden 3 was amazi...
Everything you just mentioned they're bringing back or fixing with Razor's Edge.
Did he say directly that NG3:RE is coming over to the PS360? No. It was a bullshit PR response you hear all the time that dances around the question with directly saying whether it'll be ported or not so he doesn't piss off any fans. Doesn't help too that Nintendo helped with this game and is publishing it. Yes I know Microsoft published Ninja Gaiden 2, but Microsoft themselves said they don't care about exclusives, Nintendo however does and won't let an exclusive go that ...
Don't trust the NPD numbers. For one they don't track digital sales, which are becoming more and more popular. Plus if I remember right big retail chains like WalMart don't disclose their numbers.
Also, the reason why sales are down is because we're at the end of the generation. It's a fact that sales tend to slip near the 4th or 5th year, which usually is the end of a console's life cycle, then the new generation systems come out and numbers go back ...
Question is, can they maintain that momentum next year and beyond. We'll have to see but it'll be interesting.
I find it funny how people expected a console stronger than the PS3 and 360 to cost less than those systems. Actually if you adjust the price for inflation it's one of the cheapest consoles at launch, ever. And what's even better is they're selling it at a loss, so it could of been more. People want a machine to have all this power but still be affordable.
When I first saw the Wii, I thought it was made for Zelda. When I see the Wii U I think it was made for Metroid. The system and controller's capabilities seem to suit Metroid the best while the Wiimote and Nunchuck seemed to suit Zelda the best.
Well this is bullshit.
We'll know within a week.
Again, there's no need for them when you have Miiverse. You can make your own challenges with Miiverse. For example, go to the NSMBU page and say "Hey, try to beat this level in under a minute" and then when you do you can post a picture of it on the page saying "hey look I did it". And there you go, you pretty much have unlimited achievements/trophies and the developer has to do jack shit. Only "downside" is you won't get an imaginary trophy or badge, bu...
Great news. I honestly don't know why people are surprised though. We've been through this how many time now? Nintendo announces new hardware, people claim it'll fail and Nintendo is doomed, system literally prints money, rinse and repeat. You'd think by now people would expect this. And hell if it's completely sold out now, wait until Black Friday comes around and parents try to get one for their kids and they find out it's sold out. It'll be a frenzy just like th...
