Shh, no one remembers the SNES, N64 and Gamecube.
Like I said before, and I know this will be hard to believe, but I decided to do the update later in the night while I read a book or something. Because I wanted to try out my games and not have to wait for the update to download. Well after a few hours with Mario I went back to the main menu and it started downloading on it's own. And this is not an exaggeration, it took me ten minutes. But I have a really good connection, plus being later in the day probably helped.
I know people aren't going to believe me but it literally took me about ten minutes for it to download. Maybe because I did it later in the day? Probably my only guess...
...Why would you turn the system off while it's updating?
It's almost as if you expect some journalistic integrity. Kids these days...
This was actually a pretty fair review, especially for Kotaku. To be honest, the verdict is right. Despite me being hyped as hell for it I can't really recommend someone go out and get it right now. It's always a good idea to wait for a new console.
Getting mine in the morning. My body was and forever will be eternally ready.
A picture of Bayonetta? Okay you're just asking for trouble.
Does Mika's arms get tired grasping at straws. Did he/she forget 360/PS3 had day one updates?
You forgot about Monolith Soft. They made Xenoblade, one of the biggest most expansive games I've ever played...on the Wii. If they can make something that puts an PS360 game to shame on an overcloked Gamecube, imagine what they can do with the Wii U. I'm excited for Retro's game (or games) but to me Monolith's next game will be the measuring stick.
It's sad to see people arguing about graphics...on a console. Because no matter what, consoles will always be inferior hardware wise to the PC.

People tend to forget that most launch titles look like shit, especially compared to their later games. Perfect Dark Zero compared to Halo 4 looks like it should of been on the original Xbox. If the Wii U starts off with games that look just as good as PS360 games or even slightly better (Trine 2) then just wait till what we see in a f...
This was...actually pretty watchable.
They got all the grounds covered. Reggie showed off the control AND console, reiterated it's a new system. Boasted about Mario and Zelds finally being in HD (or 3D...oh Reggie), boasted about playing a game just on the gamepad, entertainment services like Netflix, showed off Nintendo Land and asymmetric gameplay, they actually gave Metroid some attention, showed off Mario, talked about COD and ZombiU, mentioned release and price and e...
They're selling the system at a loss, don't expect a price drop for a long, long time.
One; it's next gen. It's more powerful than 360/PS3 and generations are determined by time of release, not by power. Ouya is less powerful than PS3/360 and yet it's an eight gen console.
Two; learn what "gimmick" means. In marketing, anything and everything is a gimmick. It's something that differentiates you from you competitors that you use in advertising. Xbox Live is a gimmick, PS3 using Blu-Ray is a gimmick, Nintendo TVii is a gimmick, they'...
It's free
Get this out of the way first *clears throat* HOLY SHIT LOOK AT THOSE TITS!
Okay, now that I got that out of the way, can't wait to get this game Sunday. Can't wait to find out who else they add. Maybe Sonia? Or Joe? Or Rachel? Or, dare I say, Kasumi.
Own a Vita, love it, can't wait for Persona 4 Golden and Ys Celceta, but I really don't see how Sony can save the Vita.
Too bad Sony fucked up their relationship with Capcom and Capcom switched Monster Hunter to Nintendo.
Besides this being a poorly written article, this person clearly hasn't played ZombiU or Black Ops II on the Wii U yet. They work, plain and simple. I get the feeling we're trying to grasp at straws now trying to complain about the Wii U.
I like how people disagreed this. People on here don't like games just want to bitch about specs I guess.
