What I don't get it we're going to focus on bad ports like this or Batman, but totally ignore ports like Assassin's Creed III or Tekken Tag Tournament 2 that run just as fine on the Wii U as every other system. Basically what i'm saying is, why are we cherry picking? If all the ports were shit, then you'd have something, but that's not the case. Like I said before, AC3 and TTT2, among other games work fine on the Wii U, so it's obvious it's just incompetent dev...
Same can be said for fanboys who waste their lives bashing plastic.
What is this logic you speak of?
They don't respect him, they just report what he says so slightly annoyed people like you or me go onto their website to read whatever drivel he said now and get sweet, sweet ad revenue.
"Nintendo gets a pass"
Oh fuck they don't, we're on the internet, where everyone hates and bitches about everything Nintendo does.
That would be like if someone suggested we make more money to get out of the deficit. You can't just make more.
Black Friday is where the massacre will begin.
"Some retailers have actually discounted Wii U software."
What's Black Friday?
I don't know if there's still Wii Us in stock in my town (don't care to check) but they'll all be gone soon. Black Friday is coming...
So wait, when there's an article with a dev bashing the Wii U or an analyst saying how it'll fail, people flock to it with the same "Nintendo is doomed" rhetoric. But when a dev praises the Wii U or says Nintendo will succeed, then it's bullshit? Hmm, if I didn't know any better I'd think some people here want to see it fail.
Because there was a lot of great niche third party games on there like Muramsasa and Trauma Center. One reason I loved the Wii, anyway. "Better gaming experience" is subjective, by the way.
Question, since i'm not a tech head. But the Wii U has a GPGPU, which takes some of the strain off the CPU right? Maybe because a GPGPU is new architecture that these devs aren't use to yet they rather bash the system, go home and not even try than rather learning how to use it. Kind of like the CELL?
After the first Kane and Lynch review, can anyone take Gamespot seriously?
Most people nowadays started gaming either the sixth or more likely this gen and the sixth gen was really the start of the Nintendo hate train.
I've learned this a long time ago; gaming and respectable journalism don't mix. You either spread misinformation or crack unfunny jokes when you're suppose to be a professional.
Just don't see it happening isn't a valid argument.
For the simple fact that you have to pay for online. Main reason I got a PS3 all those years ago. Well that and Metal Gear Solid 4.
This is a megaton announcement. This pretty much guarantees the eShop will be a haven for Indie developers on consoles.
I never get why people would want Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo to leave the hardware business. Competition creates success and no competition creates complacency. Whenever there's competition, the consumer always benefits from it, so why do people feel the need to by happy when a company does poorly?
Yep, sold out everywhere in my city. Not sure why it's surprising though, everything sells out on Black Friday. Couple that with it's a brand new system and of course it was going to sell out.
