Someone who wants to get into gaming and has a lot of cash. Or maybe even a company like google or Apple could theoretically take them over.
I wish more companies would just go private, shareholders cause all kinds of problems in the video game industry these days.
What they showed look horrible, If that is the game I would rather just watch the videos on YouTube.
I hope they make a sequel for ps5 early on, its a great game but there are so many little things they could improve on to make it even better.
it should play like final fantasy vii, if they call it final fantasy vii and it plays like the psp spinoff people are going to be pissed off. Feels like they just want to sell their crappy game to us by using the final fantasy vii story, people like vii for more than just the story.
I honestly think they are just being greedy and pissing off the fans while doing so, this could be an epic failure.
Its number 1 on countless favorite game ever lists, however square is screwing it up by changing the core gameplay. What they are showing isnt final fantasy vii, its just some crappy game using the story from final fantasy vii.
I think most of the people on n4g must be kids if they think this looks good, the original gameplay is big part of why this game still sells to this day. So square decides they need to make it an action game and episodic... smh

low framerate will give input lag, there is just no way around it. I think the framerate that bad, maybe some frame pacing issues.
Just wait and play it on ps5 then.

Just to put into perspective what a 1600x is for gaming. Luckily in the internet age you can just refund if it doesn’t run well, or you can wait to see what others get for performance with various hardware.
By 2020 that decision would make no sense at all, it’s just going to be ssd. The entire industry is moving to ssd as it gets cheaper and cheaper, mechanical drives will probably be pretty rare by then. No sense using a mechanical drive when there is no longer a cost advantage.
It’s going to be pretty great, I’m anxious to see how pc hardware makers respond. Back when the 360 and PS3 came out the consoles actually destroyed most gaming pcs, but then core 2 duo and 8800 came out. Later on we even got the legendary 2500k and many great 1080p video cards for the time. This gen things seem to be held back as we wait and see what the ps5 is like.
Well first off io speed in windows is horrible, and high end doesn’t tell me anything. I doubt your drive is anywhere near the speed Sony is talking about. The ps5 will also have huge upgrades to ram speed and cpu, while still maintaining much less overhead compared to pc gaming.
So much dunning Krueger effect here, people barely know anything and they think they are an expert.
Depends what you mean by best, many fans of the series dont really like it so I guess it cant be considered the best.
