The more time that goes on the more ridiculous the idea of streaming becomes. Why run games server side when an iPhone can already run fortnite at 60fps?
Digital games already are, but streaming won’t stick around.

Edit: anyone disagreeing read the crap he posted in my link. Every bad score I’ve seen has been from a social justice warrior, sometimes they try and hide their agenda but it’s clear.
Reviews don’t really matter all that much, don’t let the media try to tell you otherwise. Advertising and word of mouth are what matters, and some people might be fooled by streamers because they have only recently started pushing bad games for money.
It’s different enough from those games for me to not even compare them.
I think some people would troll, but the scores are low because of “woke” reviewers which goes beyond console wars.
The thing about quantum break was that the tv show portion was awful and the game itself was just above average.
They will get better I’m sure, but days gone is already a great game downscored by critics because the zombies are too white amongst other similar reasons.
Especially when the journalists are just trashing it because they are so woke.
They don’t need one, game is selling well and gamers enjoy it. Who care about the critics?
For a system that’s only two years old it’s got quite the library.

Best way to slow down piracy is to compete with it, people are willing to pay if they feel it’s fair and they are getting what the want. Valve was one of the first companies to actually vocalize this, they are also not publicly traded and don’t have to deal with investors who might not agree.
Fair enough, I still think dsog has some sort of agenda, either that or they go out of their way to have negative articles with huge amounts of hyperbole.
Might be true, but I don’t trust these guys to test this accurately. Look at the pattern of their articles to see why I’m suspicious of their agenda.
Everything on that engine was horrible on ps3, much better off playing this one on pc.
On pc its the best game in the series, much more stable than older consoles. Too bad it was never ported to newer machines.
Halo devs talked about the 30 second game loop, but there is much more to the games than that. The actually decent ai of the early games, the vehicles, the different guns, enemy variety, weapon variety, the interesting level designs of the earlier games etc.
But at the core yes, you need to nail the core gameplay.
