leadership changed for xbox, can you imagine cuphead being on switch with the last guy? Microsoft finally seem to realize how important pc gaming is to the success of windows and that they don't need to try and trap everyone into the xbox eco system as long as they are making money from them.
I'm annoyed you have to pay for this at all, I would rather pay a bit more for the hardware and not worry about it later.
Those other services aren't really going to take off either, apple probably won't even allow it for one thing. You want to make games for mobile, then make games for mobile.
Neither are going to be a big deal really, and neither of them make a ton of sense with where technology is going.

most pc gamers dont give a damn about this, as long as they can get the games.
they are offering a better experience, to the publishers.
I dont really care since I can install all the games on my pc. Only time I get upset is when the store somehow makes my experience worse, like for instance the microsoft store that to be fair has improved.
Some people don’t understand that once you start moving 60 FPS looks much better than 30 FPS.
60 FPS looks better than 30 FPS, games are also more responsive.
I think I’m just going to hang on to my 1070 to see what happens with the consoles, I don’t want to be underpowered for multi platform games.
Ya this was going to be a super niche product at best. Don’t try to market pcs as consoles, it just won’t work.
I would say get dragon quest on pc if you have a decent one, and then install the orchestrated music mod. The orchestrated music is so much better unless you have strong nostalgia for the 8 and 16 bit games.
