Honestly I found fidelity rt to be smoother than regular fidelity but I know others have had the opposite experience. May have something to do with the anti judder features on my TV. Either way the framerate is smooth and consistent so I really don't notice that it isn't 60.
Yeah I've been playing on fidelity RT mode on ps5 and it's been great. A few weird animation bugs aside, one of the best open world launches I've seen in a while!
The cash grab was keeping a game alive for 3 console generations so they could chill out and collect billions of dollars of microtransactions from gtaonline. All their lifelong dedicated fans wanted was a single player expansion to RDR2 or GTAV, or a next gen port of RDR2, but nah, too much to ask.
Do you really think it would take away massive development time from GTA6 to simply unlock the framerate on ps5? At this point I'd be surprised if gta6 even has a single pl...
The problem is everyone knows you can buy a $2000 pc and play it at 60fps, you didn't need to point it out.
My comment was in regard to how most every other AAA developer has been doing this for next gen consoles and many of them for free. Throw in the fact that Rockstar has made literally 6 billion dollars off of milking gtav yet couldn't be bothered to have a couple folks roll out a next gen update as a service to their loyal fans. You can defend them all you ...
So torn on this game. I really want it to be good, and it sounds great from everything they have mentioned, but I have this sinking feeling that something isn't quite right. Some of the recent gameplay looked kind of bland and Buggy, and then there is the fact that it has been in development for like 10 years with 3 different studios.
If they do succeed it will be the surprise of the year and the game that Dying Light 2 should have been. I just have this feeling that ...
Just wait until the world and flying opens up. I thought it was amazing just exploring hogwarts. Then the world opened up and it truly sucked me in. Such an incredibly well designed and thought out world. Possibly the best designed video game world I have played, and I am not even a Harry Potter fan.
RDR2 not having a next gen update is one of the biggest disappointments of this gen. It is a game that just screams for 60 fps or updated graphical features. It also goes to show how greedy Rockstar have become. With the untold piles of billions that their 10 versions of gta5 have sold, they still couldn't be bothered to put a small team together to do this and give millions of fans what they want.
I used to have the utmost respect for these guys, but I am starting t...
"Drab open world design"? You fkin kidding me? This is possibly the most beautiful, immersive open world I have ever seen, and I'm not even a HP fan. I find myself just walking slowly around admiring the atmosphere, architecture, and mysteries of the world. This reviewer is clearly biased and their site should be the thing boycotted rather than this game.
Hey I know what you mean. Just the little things like the music and the sound effects when you find hidden items or the thrill of uncovering another secret in the castle, it really does have that almost...magical feel.
I am honestly amazed at the visuals, sound, and atmosphere here. This is the first open world game where I actually choose to just walk everywhere because the world is so beautiful and just pulls you in, begging to explore every area. Really great stuff!
Odd review. I am far from a Harry Potter fan (the books and movies came out well after I was in the target age group). That being said, I am loving the game. Having watched part of one HP movie, I don't need any pre knowledge of the series to enjoy the game. The visuals, sound, ambience and atmosphere, world building, music, story, characters, exploration, and combat are all top notch in my opinion and require no prior knowledge or familiarity with the series. Not sure how this is a ...
I have to say that this game has done a great service to gamers by illustrating which sites and publications can be trusted as unbiased reviewers and which are focused mainly on political motivations. It is sad that even the hobby of gaming cannot escape the vapid hellscape that is identity politics, but here we are. Time to cross gamesradar off the short list. They actually used to be one of my favorites.
So the site that is most upset about jk rowling also gives out the lowest score. I'm sure it's just a coincidence right? I know I will never trust info from tsa again. They obviously lack the ability to be objective. What is next, every individual involved in making the games must sign a pledge verifying they have the correct opinions?
Yeah Jeter is cool and all, but they really need to try something new this year. I know everyone raves about the show and it gets stellar reviews year after year, but it got stale for me years ago. I realize you can only innovate so much with the sport, but At the very least update the visuals to something resembling current gen standards. They haven't had a major engine update in 3 console generations, and it still kinda looks like an up-res'd ps3 game.
Looks phenomenal! Didn't play the original so may have to try this!
This is the new reality. Many have been flagged and hidden. You are only allowed to have the correct opinion these days. Even if your opinion aligns with all of human history until just a few years ago. That type of thinking or questioning of the new belief system is now banned.
No forbidden west, wth?
This was a good and informative preview until they decided to mention the "controversies" such as people having different opinions and fictional creatures not having human rights. Not every preview or review has to mention these. I promise you won't lose your woke cred...
Despite all the hate, I will say that Ubi seems to be getting the message. They are making a throwback ass creed and athough breakpoint was terrible on release, the incremental updates have actually turned it into a pretty good game with many different ways to play. Still a bit too cluttered and trying to do too much but overall pretty great if you like tactical action. I'm really hoping they announce a new ghost recon that goes back to its roots as well.
