Interesting. Remains to be seen how she does. Witcher 3 was great so will be hard to top, but so far I prefer the look of her in witcher 3. Just looked more unique. Now she looks like she would just blend in with most of the npcs in the game, but sure it will grow on me.

Games are an escape from reality. I have to be ugly all day every day in real life, so video games are a chance to be different. What is next, making game characters have 0 abilities and fail at everything since most of wouldnt have the athleticism, courage, or intellect to do what they do? Games are an escape fantasy, so let them be fantasy. Why do you think movie stars are attractive unless they are comedians?

They kinda did with Mirage and I think they mentioned this being part of their plans. If their "back to roots" games are anythint like mirage though I'll pass. Im ok cutting out the rpg elements for some titles, but the combat has to be great and it was terrible in mirage.

Kinda disagree. I'm not a DA fan and was just hoping for a solid action RPG. It really has no single standout feature to draw me in or keep me playing. I'd give it like a 5-6 out of 10 but there are so many other games i would rather play (and replay) over it, i will likely never touch it again after 5-6 hours in.

WTF? Lol you physically hate a made up character who is widely renowned for being one of the most likeable characters in cinema? I mean he is relatable, unique, flawed and human, intellectual, adventurous, altruistic, like what part do you hate passionately? Is it the hat?

And don't get me started on the water in UE5. How does water in games somehow look worse now than in AC IV and other games 10-15 years old? In Stalker 2 the water is always glowing bright white no matter the sky and literally adds and removes reflections and shadows as you move the camera. Looks terrible.

Looks great. I'm already kinda sick of unreal 5. Most games just have a sort of unnatural look and feel to them. Take Stalker 2 for example. In screens it looks great, but performance sucks, there are tons of pop in and visuals artifacts, and the lighting looks very artificial most times. Like when walking outdoors you can see the transition as it draws light over the environments. It almost makes everything look metallic. Just a weird engine and almost seems like a downgrade in m...

Biggest disappointment of the year imo. Had high hopes as some of the preview gameplay looked good, but the writing and story was laughable and childish and the combat and spongey enemies got boring after like 2 hours. Not a real D.A. fan but it definitely didn't feel like one to me.

Lol how am I paying full price? It's like 15-20 bucks a month and there are a ton of games including brand new ones. If I only played 1 game every 3-4 months then I guess? I have both series x and ps5 and their premium services are damn near the same price and xbox is infinitely better.

Really liking it so far, then again it was free so prob would have different opinion if I paid 70 bucks. Game is incredibly immersion. Yes it has a fair amount of bugginess but nothing game breaking so far. If they fix the dead zone and enemy spawning issues I'd give this an easy 8-9.

Thank God they are working in this. Spinning in circles every time I remove my right thumb is nauseating. Why can't every game have dead zone settings?

Wow, so sounds like you would put Veilguard up there as an all time favorite? Just curious what you love about it. I'm about 10 hours in and nothing has really grabbed me other than the gorgeous environments and animations

Honestly you can skip valhalla and especially Mirage. I really enjoyed Origins, loved Odyssey although the grindiness and bloating hurt it, but Valhalla took a step backward in nearly every area.

They tried a reboot with Mirage by going back to the roots but it just isn't click with me personally and imo was one of the worst in the series. I'm still a huge series fan and rate AC2, Black Flag, and Odyssey as some of my all time favorites. I'm really looking ...

Agree almost completely. I feel like the glowing 10 out of 10s are not honest but neither are the 1 or 2 out of 10 review bombs. It is a solid 6 or 7. I think the visuals and art style and music and sound are all incredible. The animations in particular are some of the best I have seen.

On the more negative side, The combat just feels floaty and simplistic and VERY sanitized compared to older dragon age games where you would be caked in blood after battle. I haven'...

I've put a few hours in and so far it is pretty mid. Not terrible, but many complaints are justified. I think the art style is OK and visuals and animations are fantastic. It is a bit too....sanitized though? Like everything looks like a perfect, clean art asset. No blood, gore, grime etc. On top of that the writing does seem kind of poor. Voice acting is OK, but there just doesn't seem to be any soul behind it. It's truly like AI wrote a lot of it.

Is the "S" in FPS for stealth? Because it sounds like shooting is pretty much non existent. Sounds interesting though. I think it could be a nice change of pace focusing on stealth and melee as long as the combat is punchy and the stealth sections aren't insta fail.

Looks interesting for sure. I like the adventure part, but I'm curious how the balance will play out. Giving you a gun but making it essentially worthless sounds odd, as most games like this give you the option to go loud, but this sounds like stealth is really the intended path. I'm fine with that as long as the stealth sections aren't insta fail. .

Also if it is "adventure" focused rather than action what exactly is the adventure? I would assum...

Understandable but I feel like too many games just look like daytime with a color filter. I like when games give players options. Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Dying Light, and a few others have had "darker nights" options and I loved being able to choose
