replace black ops 2 with halo 4 and I'm good. Sure halo 4 might not have had the best graphics but they beat black ops 2.

One thing people need to do is never underestimate technology.
I believe a lot of server mods would still work because they aren't exactly mods but more or less server side plugins. Server side means that everything for the mod occurs on the actual server and nothing is done on the PC or Xbox therefore there needs to be no downloads onto the device or alterations to the code because it is all there already. well if you remember correctly a lot of games that are multiplats right now were originally only on PC/xbox. Those include Mass Effect (1 and 2)), lost planet, oblivion, and a few more.
I have never defended MS saying that multiplats are the only things that matter because frankly I don't care about the current gen of consoles and have since moved onto PC gaming.
yes but that still affected less people, didn't cost anything to replace (psn was free as well). There were no breaches in people's privacy.
Besides back then people didn't want to spend about $200 more for a system that only had resistance and MGS4. (yes that has changed but the issue with xbox failure rates has as well.)

apparently the original six axis (non Dualshock) controllers have issues with the input lag because they use different sets of code. People with DS3's don't appear to notice it as much as the ones that don't.

No, the GPU on the new macbook pro is not good enough at all. The radeon 650 is only about the same power as my old 9800gt. The 9800gt used to be amazing but know that is the minimum on a large amount of games these days. Now if the 9800 has trouble playing a game like battlefield past low at 1920x1080 then I'm sure it will have a lot more trouble at 2560x1800. So no I do not think it will be a console killer and especially not a PC killer.
