anyone agree that if you listen it resembles the Battlfield theme? But that is probably just a coincidence.
The keyword is best, as it is definitely not the fastest.
Now, where's that improved destruction?
Boy, if Nvidia thinks this is low end then I'd love to see what they are going to come out with. Next Gen is already shaping out to be amazing and it can't come soon enough.
@Bakkies
you are comparing 3 completely different architectures, but I will have to agree that they were not low end.
PS3 = Cell,
360 = PowerPC
Intel = x86
and also remember that 8 logical cores beats out 8 cells in almost anything, sure things like folding@home and other software ran better on the Cell but that is because it was designed for specific hardware while for home computers there is fragmentation. I'm sure if th...
I hope they'll show it off at pax east like they did back in 2011.
battlefield premium, it is worth every penny. But I would wait to see if they have a special for it around the release of end game.
you know that game companies make their money off software sales right? And they usually sell their hardware at a loss because no one wants to buy a $700 game console. It's been that way since the 3DO.
So when if you buy a new console to pirate games they will loose money period.
Who would buy premium for the trailers?
but that less than 1% has over 50% of the consoles visual fidelity! The 99% demands more!
180p when less is more!
@etownthree
I don't have it, though I may get it eventually.
yeah the browser doesn't seem special on its own, but I have tried using a WP7 (companion app acts as a xbox remote) with it and it was much better than hooking up my laptop, because I don't have to plug it in. But I don't see myself adopting it for a while.
And I just remembered the xbox does support USB keyboards so that might be something I might try using as well.
yeah that threw me off guard right there. The ATI 1600x was my second proper video card I've bought for gaming, kinda made me nostalgic.
I think openGL lost its luster because the devs just got lazy back before DX 9 because they had such a good lead. Then when DX 9 came out and took the ball away from openGL.
The reasons why DirectX is more popular than OpenGL is mainly because it is way more easier to develop for than openGL. DirectX was designed for game developers and has a whole bunch of special tools that make life easier.
Also I believe DirectX is used by xbox and Playstation which also ...
its like diddy kong racing... But it looks like it may be better!
you are kinda right but are wrong. 64 bit has support for 4+ GB of ram but does not need it. 64 Bit is an architecture for CPU's. A bit is either a 1 or a 0 (binary). the 32/64 bits for a CPU mean that they can process 32/64 bits at once. Imagine doubling the lanes on a highway.
Also I believe that the 64 bit requirement is just for PC's because some people are still on XP and Dice just don't want to have to optimize their game for both 32 and 64 bit architecture ...
I gotta say that my favorite design has to be the original. But that might just be kinda nostalgia.
One thing I do want in new consoles is more flipping color. I miss the wide array of different N64's and gamecubes you could get. But that was nintendo and i wouldn't expect sony to just randomly add color to their consoles. But its nice they added white.
I think they said its 4-player coop a while back.
they already showed how you can control it with a tablet and controller so logically you can use it without the kinect, but sure there may be games where you might need kinect (like kinect sports does) or might go well with kinect but not need it (child of Eden) or maybe even not use it at all like a lot of current gen games.
Besides if kinect is watching you and everyone else I don't think you need to worry because there are probably going to be people doing more messed ...
