Gamespot is an irelevant website anyway, they don't get exclusives anymore and their visitors per day dropped dramatically after the Kane and Linch fiasco

you better get a PS3 if you don't want to do this same show again next year... Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, God of War 3... they will be up there dominating, not exclusives just because no other consoles have been released when development for those games started but REAL exclusives.

what is a big budget game? FFVII costed around 25 million USD (no marketing included)...those games have always existed and will always do.
Now, if you as a publisher want to hype them then the costs goes higher...Halo 3's development costed around 30 million...the marketing of the game, other 30 so 60 in total
Games would be cheaper to develop if consoles stayed around for 7-8 years like the PS2 does today, hopefully the PS3 will be the same case

FPS already exists as genre...why Kojima, someone that invented the stealth action genre would both with that?...he's coming with something new and we should be thankful that there are still developers that want to contribute to VG like he and his team do.

UK residents don't see the benefits of the localization as they play the game in English
As a Swede I can say it's great what SCEEE does, X360 has almost ZERO localization for other languages than French, German, etc... they don't care about small languages like SONY does.
Only game in Swedish ever on the X360 was VivaPiñata...not even ...
1.- How many of the ones always complaining are European residents?
2.- If European resident, then I assume you have already played the hell out of GTi Club+, Crash Commando and Söldner-X
3.- If you don't care about the games above then I assume games are only relevant when delayed so you have something to complain about

Crossplatform would show which controller is better.
The DualShock does a great job playing any genre, it's really versatile rather than be good at one single thing.
This is a great idea...don't care who wins I just hope the winner is some old wolf that played SF on the NES, SNES and Arcades so I can share his/her happiness.

Microsoft has to give up and change their policy for XBL download size.
IMO the X360 is a great machine for new owners, relative lower price and a great catalogue of games to catch up with...PS3 today has also a great catalogue of games today and coming next year but it's still more expensive
I just feel that as the way it looks next year (it already started this year) there's more launch X360 owners waiting for a PS3 price cut than PS3 owners for a X360 giveaway.
But maybe it's just me who sees things in that way...I don't have anyt...
It's X360 last year....Microsoft is developing games for the next machine...that's why they will go mostly multiplatform next year, that should be enough for them + some exclusive DLC deals and of course a couple of surprises....but what about non-new X360 owners? those that have already played those "best games catalogue" that Microsoft touts since 2007 and haven't refreshed with new games?...are AAA multiplatform games released every 2 months enough for them?

I live in Scandinavia and I think the prices are ok at least here, we pay more because we earn better salaries, that easy, we have less inflation, poverty is not a problem, and so on... please stop using that "over priced" stuff as an argument and calling anyone that disagrees with you a "fanboy"...are you at least from Europe to know what you're talking about?...it's mostly UK people that likes to complain about everything

...weird... I live in Sweden and LittleBigPlanet, QuestForBooty, Resistance 2, and other kids games also have swedish dub and all the PS Store is in swedish if I choose Swedish as "system språk"
It's because of localization...I find amazing that SONY cares about small languages like ours...how many people lives in Danmark...4 million? 8 millions in Sweden...and SONY deliver games in our languages and people still says thay SCEE sucks? Sorry but NOT.

Yeah, if this was not pre-agreed, their bosses would have already stopped this...rating for them and for Fable 2...I'm sure that at the end the other guy will agree and say maybe Fable 2 deserves GOTY after all...marketing for X360 games has no limits.

So according to the article, HOME should be smart enough to identify when Gay is being used correctly and when is used negatively by idots as in "Gay-people should-die-Club"?... I think this last would be more horrible to have around HOME, if not being able to have a club named is "My nice Gay Club" is the price for blocking homophobic people I'm ok with it.
