As an owner of a console with a HDD that can be easily upgraded I DEMAND games installs!
c'mon it's the first game in a long time that doesn't release a demo on the PS3...what i think it's a shame is that devs don't take advantage of the universal KY support on the PS3...they should support KY + Mouse on the PS3...I guess the FragX controller should work fine...
The reason is that for a PS3 demo they would've needed to setup dedicated servers while on XBL they can use the cheap peer-to-peer for the only available mode in the demo (One-2-One versus mode)...to do oth...
I really want to find a reason to get a X360 again as I miss some XBL buddies but I guess I'll wait until Halo Recon is out...
Gears 2 looks great and it will be fun, just as fun as Gears 1 but just that, the way the game starts actually tells you this is not GOTY, its pretty similar to the start of Unreal Tournament...then you have the classic chopper, the rookie that joins the squad, rookie that will sacrifice his life for the squad (or even for the whole humanity) later duri...
They won't because it would make even more obvious that the magic USD 199 price tag is just an illusion, 199 + HDD + BR add-on = more expensive than a PS3.
To get a BR add-on that can compete with SONY's BR quality on the PS3 wouldn't be cheap, with the HD-DVD add-on you could say they were different formats, that both had pros and cons, etc,etc... but not if it's a BR in both as in that case you compare BR vs BR...so they wouldn't get a way with cheap components

Agree with you, just check their magazzines, they put a "coming to X360" even to multiplatform games so one get the impression that those games are X360 exclusives
Also, they put up an article about the PS4 (WTF???), they wrote it's coming within 2-3 years and at a cheaper price than the PS3...what a coincidence, just before christmas they publish an article like saying to people, "don't buy the PS3, it's to expensive, wait for the PS4 i...

SIREN Blood Curse is the best survival horror game of the year so far, old school and scary as hell, it doesn't rely on sudden sounds like most of today's games...the enemies (shibitos) are there, they are creepy and you are not always carrying a shotgun and shooting the hell out of them or doing finishing combo moves like in other games...in SIREN BC you are just human hence vulnerable...great game!
by the way, the creator of the first Silent Hill is the one behind SIREN BC, h...
Here in Sweden it's like that. at my local EB they have all this cases to pre-order Gears 2, Fable 2, etc on shelves that cover a whole wall while there's not a single one for Resistance 2, SOCOM, LittleBigPlanet, etc...the PS3 section is actually behind a big shelf holding used games for the Xbox and PS2, so when you pass by the only you see it's X360.
BUT I don't see any similar stuff for the Wii either...the thing is what many people don't realize is that Gamestop runs a bus...
In Europe the demo is actually 1,8 GB.
I agree about some small fram rate issues being present, but this is just the demo, don't forget about that.
I played the game on the X360 last year and it was ok, too much backtracking IMO but definetely a good experience for those that haven't played it. The game looks great on the PS3 regardless.
I liked the ability of paging through some images while the game is loading, that wasn't present on the X360 ver...

Awesome! but for some reason I still don't regreat I switched to PS3 a year ago and a new X360 for me looks more and more far away, SONY is releasing so many damn good games and there's more to come after TGS, I don't need a X360 to play multiplatform games, that would be stupid.
Son Goku was 15 when he fought Piccolo Dai Maku so the guy in the movie it's ok we can say, the thing is that Goku was really short at that age, even Bulma thought he was like 5 when they met so she let him sleep with her in the same bed, went around in just underwear until she found out he was 12 LOL.

Zone of the Enders 3 would be great...or a MGS3 remake =)...Konami owns also a lot of franchises, let's hope for a revival of some classic game
Agree, The End was epic, it was a poem rather than a boss fight. every boss in the MGS series is a final boss in any other game.
RAM, GPU, Cell....why we make eveything too complicated and play expert developers?...the only I have to say is Uncharted, MGS4, GT5P, Killzone 2, LBP, Resistance 2, etc, etc that's how I measure the current power of the PS3 after ONLY 2 years of its release..."The best is yet to come"... regardless, at the end there will only BE CHAOS :)

interesting, so if I boot up Oblivion on the X360 my buddy will be able to join me to play some co-op...as the horse maybe?...I didn't know co-op was built-in on the X360...Halo 3 didn't have drop in/out co-op...on the PS3 the crappy game Haze had 4p drop in/out co-op, Lego Starwars and R6V as well...you could send invites from within the game, R6V invites includ...
