Doesn't mean less players but that, LAYERS, XBL demands to always be connected under XBL where you have all those layers for cross chat, game invites, status, etc so even if you connect to dedicated servers all that other data must be running back and forward under the XBL framework which causes a more laggy experience.

but instead of listing what you missed it's easier to list what XBL has that PSN doesn't...the only features that have to do with gaming are the last ones and really the only advantages (and great featurse) XBL has over PSN, the rest is nothing I care about, when I bought the console I bought it for gaming and nothing else...I can do without the XBL party stuff...we have yet to see how those coming features will work...will the XBL party for movies allow me to watch a film with my buddy witho...
If the rumour about the slim is true then this is a great opportunity to get your hands on the "original" model, great piece of HW with top notch components...very similar to when the Emotion Engine HW would be taken out the PS3, many didn't wait for a price drop but bought the 60 gigger at launch price and even today I have yet to meet someone that regrets it.
now I know why R2 co-op is tons of fun!...8p taking down a titan is just too awesome...all that action in screen without lag.
They just didn't get the time to put more in the game not design it around SP and co-op...Atari wanted the game out this year to follow the "COD tradition" and they know people will buy it, specially 360 owners that have no that many games to look forward to for the fall as it looks today

to remove that support would probably cause piracy to become a problem for the PS3...the only reason why hackers haven't hacked the PS3 is that modders are not interested in the PS3 in that sense...since you can run Linux on it the PS3 doesn't represent a challenge for modders...hackers usually exploits what modders achieve, modders are not interested in piracy..anyway, BlueRay discs are still expensive, though so I guess that helps a little against p...
If someone would tell me that my 60 gigger is launching this year I would believe it... awesome piece of HW...even today's PS3s are up to date...the design is just too awesome. Kuddos to SONY for giving value for your money

Not really, everybody that loves the MGS knows that it's the best of the series and BigBoss kicks ass...Ocelot is also an awesome character....the games always shows up among the best games, endings, front covers, etc...is a well respected title among VG experts
If you call it under rated just because some people haven't played it has nothing to do with that...no more no less gamers have played the MGS series but only those that should, that's what makes them so special

I think you'll probably be able to copy the game from the old PSP to the new one...similar to when you get a new X360, you can order a free cable from MSFT to transfer your stuff from the old HDD into the new one

You B media guys are a big reason why E3 sucks, you leak everything and then expect companies to announce even more stuff...this things kill the magic of the annoucements
