Agree, but I must say that what Liar only needed from that patch was actually the d-pad controls for 180 degrees (down) turns and dashing-forward (up)
When the patch came I was in the middle of the SP and I didn't use the analog controls to fly as they felt weird on the other hand I noticed that the experience was improved by those 2 moves now also avaiable via de D-pad.
Sixaxis works fine in Liar with the d-pad for complex moves...the problem ...
Yeah, the demo is actually only a skrimish in the game which are used as training and gain experience....like usual, games that have a lot of variation can't be judged by a demo.

Yeah, the article is a little too much (if it's not being ironic)...it's a nice feature that will be even more appreciated when we finally get in-game private voice chat, this text chat feature is the foundation for that...
it will be nice to have both choices, sometimes you need to keep things simple and fast other time you would need in-game private chat, but for now we only have on of those...people should care less about comparing PSN vs XBL...it's not like this can't be do...

You are talking about Snake and perhaps Kojima is talking about another character that is now accepted by MGS fans = Raiden, a Ninja is the perfect character for a semi-open world with side stealth missions for an assasin.
They already explored a litte of that in MGS Portable Ops (side missions) and it didn't hurt the story. I'm sure whatever he does will be great...don't know why, I trust the man :P
This retailer is known for being really agressive and comes often with that kind of campaings but the truth is that when you go to the store there's no more in stock of whatever their offered...we're talking about around 10 bundles per store and the PSP is probably the old one...really tricky if you ask me, once you are there usually you don't want to leave with empty hands and by the stuff anyway for the normal price...

Yes, PS3 has HDMI 1.3 while the X360 HDMI 1.1 that's the key to know what type of DTS sound they can or can't support
PS3 supports DTS-HD Master Audio, and other type of audio, eveything uncompressed so this being news for the PS3 would be silly that's why they only mentio the X360 which will get a compressed version of the audio anyway...this news wouldn't be that "great" if they had included what the PS3 is capable today reg. that matter.
Same thing Kojima meant during the development of MGS4..."struggling to get the great game we want but we are getting there"

There's no such a thing like "lead platform" this time...it's not like the game MIGHT come to the PS3 later but instead we all know it's coming, if anything, this is a timed exclusive.
CAPCOM is not stupid to be developing the game 100% focused on the X360 to later start worrying how they will port it to the PS3...CAPCOM will be using their multiplatform engine, the game will be developed in PC optimized for both platforms and then ported first to the X360 and 8-12 mo...
Good stuff Microsoft, now team up with Marlboro to keep promoting consumption of healthy beverages and pleasures...
The Demo is just a skrimish battle which are used to accumulat EXP and Money during the game, the game is 10 times better than the demo, get it man, this game will be a rare JRPG to own in the future, like other RPGs such as Suikoden, Tales of Destiny, etc
Good for them, I think SONY is pleased with the PS3 sale figuress, PS3 was launched March 2007 here so it has barely been out 2 years in Europe (unlike the 3.5 years of the X360)...PS3 in Europe missed the x-mas season of 2006, and still, have sold pretty close to the X360 in less time where the cheapest console has sold for 399 EURO...someone's mouth is foaming, they wish people showed that love for the X360...

Halo 2 maps were for free, yes, but after 6 months, during that time you couldn't play som matchmaking lists because those maps were required nor join your friends in custom matches which forced you to buy the maps...well worth it anyway, I never thought they were expensive Halo 2 was an amazing online experience, unmatched even today by most...
